nice one lidor by the way akiva has the bad ones Sad..........also ,with the neebar what do you mean with the scotch?
I know that already because of the footlever who broke.
And about the scotch... Do you have a better word for that?

I think the English word for that is Velcro, this is assuming that scotch is what i think it is.

Is Scotch this stuff?
Where you have two bits and they stick together?

Velcro is the word. Thanks Athoul. I chacked it in the dictionary Smiley

If this is the case then i think most of the newer stilts are the bad quality ones.
All the old stilts had the velcro to hold your knee in and then on the newer models this was changed to the clip bit.

Correct me if im wrong.

You are not wrong, that's what I think too.
But this is not a secure thing, it is just a sign for the difference.
You need to check all the things that I wrote here with the pictures to make sure what is your stilts quality.

Might be wrong, but are  instead of good and bad, aren't we talking about 1st and 2nd generations? I know, the velcro over clips behind the kneebars and the different shaped hooves were both changes to the 2nd generation as compared to the first? Or i might be just plain wrong  Grin someone ask sprog  Cheesy

Maybe it is true about the "new  generation" but it doesn't mean that this "new  generation" is good quality, just the opposite! when you take all the differences that I gave here and ask me what I prefer - so I would say without a doubt the old one.
And when you check the best quality stilts:Powerskip, 7leagues.. you can see that they made them like the "old  generation" (I am not sure about the strap with the 7's).
..Have you asked yourself why they didn't change it?

Didn't say it was wrong  Smiley i also heard (wow im such a gossip  Grin) that the 2nd gen suffered due to cheaper materials/design so the price could be cut? not sure on that one, but hey. I hav'nt had any 1st gens myself, but a mate has had them same amount of time i've had my 2nd gens and they have both lasted a year of us!  Grin basically i have no opinion, i'm just waffling because i'm bit bored.... sThe Second Generation of jumping stilts made by Flying Locust people are known to be of worse quality and have been known to snap/break in a various different places and the 1st generation stilts where made of better materials in the springs and in all other places i.e. the plastic parts where of better quality in the 1st generations

Flying locust stilts Inc. Prp-Jumps, Fly-Jumpers, PoweriZers and a lot of others

I have both and I like the clip much better. you can set it once and that's it ! It's set up right next time you wear them no mucking about each time you put them on !?
I think the velcro looks cheap !?
