now im afraid thats just dumb! There are a few vids out there where someone tries these things on a trampoline and because of such a small foot area, they stretch the trampoline right down so that it touches the floor before bouncing back up. Thus ruining the trampoline

Be careful if you ever attempt this

They don't even compress the springs.
Dumb. Stupid. Don't do this.

How could that even be useful for training? Since the springs dont compress, how could you translate what you learned to when you are on the ground?

Well you know how some people train for these flips with ankle weights? Well that is copying the flip feel only.
But that is a bad way to learn.

as a trampoline coach... if you got plenty experience flipping..... and you don't care about possbiling damaging the bed of your trampoline.....

I dont see any problem with this.  Especially on the more dead back yard tramps like this one.

would really have no problem at all with it if someone was sliding in a mat on landing to help kill the bounce.

Whilst everyone's laying into this, I'll say the opposite in the sence that at least it answers the question;

"Would PRs on a trampoline work?"

The answer technically is yes but the risks/outcome/results are a no, it doesnt help anything.

yes the Bock springs will not compress.  tramp would normaly though. Getting the feeling of the extra length on your legs is where it could help.

One thing to make sure is NO TRAMP SPRINGS SHOULD BE EXPOSED and there needs to be suffcient stiffness to the tramp spring covers so if you land on a hoof on the springs that small foot size of the hoof will still NOT go thru the pads between the springs.  Also a net is more neccissary here than w/out stilts on.  Recovering from a fall off the trampoline safely is very difficult on stilts.
