what about pittsburgh, pa?  I used to live there and in retrospect, it was pretty good bocking territory.   Plus, it's smack dab in the middle of the east coast bockers, and as far as I know, it's never been bocked before.  We could burst it's bocking cherry!

it'd be a 9 hour drive for me as well and it's alot closer than texas. If we go any more north then I'll be facing the same problems that you guys had with coming down here.  I was thinking nyc but we're saving that for BockNYC '08.  I just looked more westerly and came to philidelphia, pa, and that's a resounding no-the whole city stinks-litterally smells bad . so the next most westerly big city was pittsburgh.  While I wasn't a bocker when I lived there, it was some dynamic bocking terreign including Carson st.(party st.) strip district (party st jr.) as well as downtown.
