Have a read through this:

http://www.x-bocks.co.uk/index.php?page=17#CAT3

Best upto date detailed comparision of stilts  Smiley

Your main choices are the PoweriSer 08's, 7leagues but these are £240 and a bit over your budget or projumps which are £135 and are a good starter stilt if your not sure your gonna get into the sport fully.

Also where abouts are you from, there may be people or groups local to you

For someone new to the sport Pro-jumpers would be a good starting point.
They are perfectly good  for most people and are well within your price range has I'd also buy elbow knee and wrist pads too.
You could order them all from Pro-jumpers for a total cost about £165.  Smiley
Order monday morning and you may have them midweek  Cool

You don't say where you are but CB in Wales in a couple of weeks, maybe £35 would cover travel costs ?
If you can make it there you'll love it, doesn't matter if your not very good we'll help you  Cool

hi and welcome Olly. Wanna be more specific re Norfolk? Cos suprisingly it is a centre of bocking activity. No, seriously Grin. Meets are regularly held in Norwich and there is a local club, the EA Bockers, who pride themselves on being the most disorganised in the country --bless um Cheesy

I may sound like plugging a brand but for a price of under £200 these mean they can buy safety pads which for a newbie is a good idea !?
If their price range was £300 then maybe I'd say 7's ( which are a better build ? ). At £200 Pro-Jumps is my best advice !?

08 models are really nice.
fly jumpers or whatever, are cheaper and not as good.
