Dont take this offensively but you dont seem to get much bounce out of those? Or is this standard for the junior model - this is to anyone reading not just JSB.

Cheers

Yep, you don't get much bounce out of kids models. One of the kids at my juggling club has a set of the Poweriser PR3050s and he can only get about 1ft bounce on them, and he bottoms them out ridiculously easily.
The springs just aren't powerful enough for what we want.

I think the junior models are more designed to get people interested in the sport and to fill a marketing gap. I'm totally guessing here but maybe the weight of people using the jr models just isnt enough to transfer the energy to the stiffer springs to get much height.

I do think they are pretty crap but then people with junior models who then grow and put on weight will get adult models and have a very steep learning curve because they are already good with the balance, height and extra weight (though the junior models weigh less than the adult models).

I agree with all comments said. Is it just me or is the sound not in time with the bouncing?

Framerate of capture differs to that of the final render, everyone does it.

Framerate is the number of still pictures the camera takes per second. The common setting is 25fps (frames per second), although 30 is required to fool the human eye into it being totally smooth motions.
Around 60-120fps is needed for good quality slow motion videos.

Basically, what Lukey is saying is that the rendering (the computer saving it to video format) of the video is slightly out of synch with that of the sound rendering. A lot of low-quality videos have this problem, and it doesnt help that SB is in an enclosed space, causing echoes.

I think I know what you might be on about...
He had the video jumping off tables with no pads, set to kooks music, right?

Here's the thread, if it's the correct one Wink
