Looking at DKs, there is no bolt down the middle. You are missing the two of the front that hold the corners of the rubber in place.

To get that nut on you just need to take the spring completly off the hoof, then attach the black metal bit and then put it back together.

10 stone is perfect for the m70's.
As for taking them apart just go for it, just remember which order you took them apart it's not that hard.

The two bolts holds the spring to the black metal which in turns hold them to the metal hoofs axle point. The Rubber is held by four small bolt and contact glue !?
The holes in the hoof are only to make it more light weight !
And my picture was taken some time ago !?

the whole confusion here is your using the wrong word, your not missing a bolt your missing the nut that goes on the other end of it, take the bolt to a hardware store and they should be able to sort you out with a replacement nut, problem SOLVED

i have had those do you not remember Sprog i was asking about them they are naff really i managed to wear threw them in 3 hours of pure bocking and i made it threw and was scraping bolts that hold it in they are sh** they are 1cm thick and the bolt goes 6mm in. so they are naff but still they need 2 bolts obviously and and depending on where you live there are several shops where it can be done if u live anywhere near southend(i didnt look at you home town) then a place called X-Isle has them and they can replace them if any more help is  needed on these i know all there is thanks alot
