I've had my  :poweriser:powerstriders for about a week now and I'm getting quite comfortable on them because of jumping on them everyday and I was wondering if anyone else's lower back was very VERY sore and tight when using your powerisers for the first couple of times. Is his something that I should just keep jumping through or give it sometime to rest. I hate to think of taking a day of they are so awesome jump and run on Cry.
Thanks,
Cory

Rest it for a few days.
It's a condition that we called "Bockers Back", you're using muscles in your back that you rarely use, and as such aren't used to such exercise and ache.

Personally I've probally had 3 to 5 hours of time on my stilts. Maybe more or maybe less, combined with working full time. So my legs are rather sore. But my back is fine, that could be due to the fact I haven't gone all out in jumping. Or my work could have already conditioned my back. I do lift a lot of heavy things often. But don't use my legs quiet like I have been on my stilts.

Regardless I took yesterday and today off from them. It was tough as I really want to keep going. But I didn't want to screw my legs up so much it affected my work. But I plan on getting back on them again tomorrow after work.

I'm looking forward to when my legs have conditioned enough where I don't have to do this as often.

Ok, so I have read these threads. My questions is, what if any excersises has anyone been doing (outside of bocking) that helps with core muscles? I'm a week into bocking ( sorry to bring up an old thread), and my back (not lower, but around the lower ribcage) is very sore. I also work out regularly and noticed that since I started bocking, I also feel this soreness after doing certain arm excercises like standing bicep curls and standing wrist curls. I will stay off the bocks for about 4-5 days( this is going to kill me, just staring at them without getting to use them) as I don't want to aggrevate this to an injury. I realise most of you said that it goes away after a week or two, but I'm the kind of guy who once he realises there is a weakness, wants to strengthen it. Any help would be much appreciated and I think it may also help those prep that have not gotten bocks yet.

bocking will strengthen it, just takes time.  The reason there is weakness is cause there are so few exercises that exercise your body in the same way bocking does.

I'm also a sprinter, and tbh, when i bother with training (unusual Cheesy), that seems to help, i also have a weak knee, so i do lots of Quads exercises, whihc helps both my knees by supporting them, and my legs not being so tired, Bockers Back tends to wear off fairly quickly, but it does return if you havn't used them in a while. The worst is probably now behind you Smiley

Deffo bockers back, just rest untill its better again, and you shouldn't come across the same problem again Smiley or atleast not as bad. untill your muscle are fully used to it.
