yep  hang in a lil longer. I really know itmust be slow torture for you seeing all these meets just out of reach for you --and there others just like you round the country.

But logic tells you there MUST be others in Liverpool. So hold that idea , then try and work out how to find them. 1st do a search ( yes again probably) here and on pjf and PM any results.

This is just a glimps of New Brighton, it overlooks Liverpool, it would make a great bocking day, and easy to Visit, Liverpool and New Brigton in one day, with lots of Bocking time, you couild even  Ferry across the Mersey on Bocks.

Heres a thought. Most of EPB got into it cos there were a few of our Network Scouts into it. What if you could join a Network in Liverpool and introduce it to them.
Furthermore, Scouting is awesome and this fact alone should be your primary reason for joining.
I'll PM you with details of potential Networks. Just keep in mind, If you dont change your current strategy, your results wont change either.

ok I think its about going back to basics.

Use your PC to print off some cards or even use vistaprints free service. If you have no other contact details to put on them, put this forum.

Go bocking. Somewhere were its safe and most importantly has lots of people passing. Give out cards to everyone and anyone. We quite often give cards out to grannys and semi-dead people because they have young families. Just give them out.

Do this for 4 weeks. If you dont have at least 1 new bocker in that time then go with your first idea and quit Smiley

I have done this, gave out 120 cards (i had 150, 30 left, maybe lost some) and only 1 person responded, didnt buy any.
I find that for bocking to really spread there has to be more than 1 person.
Good thing you found someone.

Yeah your right about it being limited on your own, it would be a funny day if there was more in the gym.
