An update with some good and bad news.

Due to other issues in the look North Area (football promotion/relegation mainly) the TV company have now pulled out of attending.

If it had been a slow News day we would have had no problem. I knew this could happen but it still makes me dissapointed .

I have though been able to negotiate with the Leisure centre for them to accept the cost of staging the event (£120+VAT) with no TV coverage.

I would however like to suggest that we all pay agoodwill gesture to the leisure centre of £2.00 each.

It is my hope that those of you who have committed to attending and also those who have expressed an interest in attending still are turning up as I am sure it will still be a good day and we will be able to make new friendships and get some great video of our own.

5 days to go

The leisure centre have said that we can have access to the outside grass running track and/or the artificial surface when others are not using it.

lokks like I may think of adding a sprint challenge ?
