I've been practicing around Roundhay Park in Leeds and found it an ideal spot, it's not too busy so although I get a few people quizzing me about the risers it's not like the city centre where I can't go a minute without someone stopping me (assuming the streets aren't packed anyway). It's also got plenty of benches and trees to help getting up (until I master standing up unassisted) and plenty of clear roads and paths to practice running on.

I've not been that way recently so can't suggest anywhere off the top of my head but once I've mastered tricks other than falling over I'm up for meeting up and comparing notes.

It'd be highly beneficial to anyone new to Risers to learn to get up unassisted. I feel this is as important as learning to walk on them.

My reason for saying this is that WHEN* you do fall and theres no benches anywhere you're a bit stuffed.

* = And I say when because its invitb inevibitbl inevitabl going to happen sooner or later!
