Yes, I've hyperextended my knee a little before (but nothing extreme, just a little bit the wrong way).
The reason it hurts is because you're pulling the muscles up the back of your leg.
With practice you'll get used to landing correctly and shouldn't do it.

That happened to me the other day. I think if the knee support was better it wouldnt be such a problem. I'm probably going to try out some of the mods people have been talking about.

I've done that loads - you just need to try and not land with your legs totally striahgt - try and keep and bit of bend in your legs so that you can absorb the shock of landing

dont say that sprog, all threads are saved so we can relight a conversation that ended a while ago, i thought that was the half the point to a forum, or else we would all just be in chat rooms. ....anyway....

i did that bobman when we were at Donny on 12th April, it really hurt when i did it but i carried on and the pain went soon enough, you may find that you did it when you were a bit tired.....

Sorry Tom Embarrassed

I did it last night running but thats because I shredded through my right tyresock and it just slid. It didn't hurt much, and I didn't realise i'd ripped the sock at the time and just carried on

oh man.. this was a real problem for me a month after starting out... i did it not once .. not twice but 4 times in an hour.. and i couldn't walk for the nest two days.. the saying 'Thats gonna hurt in the morning' has real presence on this one.. it was my left leg.. and its still a bit on the wobly side to this day.. every time i do it it still makes me weep.. but i carry on regardless :p its just the way i am lol

and it was in fact on the day that you see these pics on my Sig .. so i really hurt myself that day getting these shots...  Cool

I've never had a problem with this, we should try to figure out what i'm doing that's preventing me from getting this problem, cause it sounds like it hurts big time.

bending your knees?

I have a similar problem with my back. I quite often land with my back straight and it jars my back up quite badly. I've worked out i just need to work on my technique and lean forward but to do that 100% of the time take a lot of concentration.

It seems like my knees take a lot of strain from just bouncing around. I have this pain right under my knee cap for a couple days after using em. It takes a huge amount of energy to just get a little bounce out of em.  I'm just under the weight range for my m70's.  anyone else have this problem?
