Well first, obvoiusly, if you don't already know. The 7 Leagues are the more expensive choice, but they are worth it, spring had great return energy and such.

Powerrisers is a good choice too, cheaper, but not worse.

In the end its really about how much you're goin to stick with the sport / how much you're willing to spend.

If you're slightly unsure, I recommond the Poweriser.

If you're going to stick with it , choose the 7's.

But then you're not really going to know if you're going to stick with it untill you get them. If you have past expreinces with gymnastics, extreme sports, BMx, sk8 boarding, etc. Go with the 7's.

Also, remember to buy pads BEFORE buying any bocks. Thats an important factor.

Ask lots of questions and welcome to bocking! (not yet I guess ;P)

Cheers!

caros got a point. Your location would affect on what you get.

but then again, that shouldn't sway what you want.

Just might slow / make it hard to find.

hoppers if you can only get poweriser classics and not advanced due to money then im sorry to say that 7s are not really an option.  7's cost about twice as much as poweriser classics.  I would recomend a pair of poweriser advanced.  they are a good inbetween

if you live in the US the cheapest and in my opinion best way to go is a pair of poweriser advanced for $400

And tell your parents that you will wear all the pads and take it slowly.  Tell them you wont try anything stupid and you will play it safe.

Also... make sure to actually do what you tell them

keep reassuring your parents.. xD they'll hate them.

I mean just look at it, the bocks look like a bloody deathtrap.

But a fun deathtrap! Remember that rolls will reduce alot of boo-boos and owies, tell them that too.

performance there is no difference.  You can get just as much height on poweriser springs then you can on 7's.

Quality still seems to be some what debated, but i would say overall 7's has the edge
