I wouldn't normally advertise reduced pricing for my remaining 7 Leagues stilt stock on here as discounting with this product is a real no no. But its the last pair i've got left and i can't be bothered to ebay them.. LOL So for any 7's dealers reading this please don't go moaning to Wolfgang its one pair!!

You're getting out of the business Trip so it's only normal that you unload your stock.

before everyone asks trip if he has the specific part they need, if you want trip, start a thread with whatever you have left that you want to sell.

@Trip

Thanks for the Theros - they'd be abfab apart from the fact that the foot plate is too big!!! We are keeping both sets and my grandson's well happy using the powerizer ones we got from eBay until his feet grow a bit for the Theros.

Thanks to everyone for all their help and advice - I got my money back in full, and 2 pairs of stilts for less than the rrp of the thero's ..... fantastic deal i'd say.  Sticking to the facts and your guns really does work Grin

Oh wow, I just learned something new and very important! I was always under the impression that the sole differences between Theros and the Asian brands were the springs and the bushes so when I read your last post Karen I couldn't believe what I was reading. I immediately pulled out a pair of PoweriZer F50's and a pair of Thero's from stock to check and got a real shock when I saw the difference in the length of the footplates. The Theros plates are considerably longer!

This does however raise a question. My son used to have a pair of PoweriZer F50's and with a shoe size of 43 (UK size 9) his shoes went way over the end of the footplate. As you jump on your heels it made no difference and even if he had to apply weight on his toes, the shorter footplate would not have caused him any problems. But I can't help but wonder why you consider the Thero footplate to be too long? Even if the child's feet are much smaller than the length of the footplate he jumps on his heels so there should be no problem. Indeed, I've had an 8 year old on a pair of Theros and while his feet were half the length of the footplates it made absolutely no difference and the little one was able to walk easily. Being a beginner's session he never had a chance to start jumping but, like I said, placing weight on the heels to jump means he should not have a problem.

I'm very interested in why you think your son would be troubled by the longer footplate Karen?

Incidentally, when my son was on PoweriZers we swapped the springs for Theros and the difference in performance was considerable. Food for thought! Wink

Hi Cantallian

I just thought that they seemed to long and assumed it would be best for him not to wear them!

As it was last Friday when he tried them on and we put them away, I can't really remember but I think they were a bit too long in the leg as well even if we'd adjusted them.  Not sure if the fastenings (bindings?) were too big too. As they are on the powerizers, although he hasn't been on them during the week as we've been busy and have also spent time wrapping the springs.  And we've realised that we can alter the fastenings which we're gonna do later and see if that helps.

Can the fastenings be altered on the Theros too?

Excuse my ignorance, what are the bushes?  I've seen them mentioned a few times and haven't worked that bit out!!!

We never thought about the fact that you jump on your heels so it wouldn't matter if the footplate was too big!!  We'll have to get them out and try them again.

Yes, the straps are fully adjustable to fit all sizes.
The bushes, sometimes called "bearings" are the metal cylinders that all the axes move on. They are found at the top of the spring where it connects to the frame, just underneath the fooplate, and just below the centre of the spring where it connects to the hoof assembly. The Asian brands squeak and whine because they use plastic joints in the frame whereas the 7's are made of both copper and steel. As a result, they are totally silent.

Just had a few quick questions for you on the powerizer stilts did you happen to have a 50-60KG or a 50-70 spring set for an adult set of stilts.

How much did the child weigh by chance as I wear a size 6 shoe and mine are just a little over the end of the foot plate yet I agree with you it does not affect me running or jumping on the kids poweriser set.

Are the foot plates the same on the poweriser as they are on the Thero's or are they the same length as the powerizer set?

Are you allowed to sell the powerizers to the USA even if it is just a set of springs just wondered.
Thanks in advanced,
LKP

I have 50-60 PowerStrider springs and 50-70 Raptor or Poweriser springs.

At the time, my son weighed 38 kg.

The Thero footplates are about 2 cm longer.

While there is no US distributor of the 7 Leagues product, I am permitted to sell that brand to US residents. For anything to do with FlyJumper brands (Powerizer, Powerstrider, AirTrekker, etc.), I am not allowed to sell to the US because you already have distributors of all these brands.
