Slexoj ... i apologise for using the wrong term in your eyes.  Where we are, we say all jumping stilts are powerisers regardless of brand/model. Also, have you seen the home page for PoweriserPages.com?  Where it asks 'what are powerisers?' -----Powerisers are springy stilts which you strap yourself into. They allow you to jump as if you were on a trampoline, and allow long leaping strides. On this website, the word 'Poweriser' is used to mean any stilt like the Poweriser brand, although there are several other brands. The general term for these stilts is 'Powerbocks'.--------

If you want to know how I got these bocks, please see my very first post and read it properly - everyone understood immediately.

Hi Karen,

I fully understand what you say and it is not your fault. I think, that in the time when this page was created, no one was pretty sure what name to use for jumping stilts and for jumping on them, so they call that bu product name. I think that proper terminology would be on the place now, to avoid all misunderstanding and misrepresentation. However it is no admin guys.

I tell you why I fight for proper terminology: For example here in AU are many distributors and importers of skyrunners, airrunners etc. And those importers are often distributing them as POWERISER. They try to distribute them through local skate shops, inline shops etc. under POWERISER name. As you know skurunner and airunner are very bad quality, so they were breaking all the times and making serious injuries. Also the importers did not have enough spare parts so when skate shops and inline shops turned to importers for spare parts and warranties, they received no support.

And now me as an importer of Poweriser to AU I have huge problems to convince those owners of skate shops and inline stores that I have the original product. It makes them reluctant to try to sell them again even if there is good demand.

I read that your first post, but I still could not find how did you get them for 100EUR because I can't see anything for 100EUR on that webpage www.originalpowerizer.com so you had to communicate trough email or phone the get that price?Huh

Slezoj. Jakesnanny is fine to say flying locusts. Skyrunners are not made in the flying locust factory (Guangzhou)

Please do understand that I would like to help you to get your money back or have your product exchanged, but I need to know more details. It doesn't really matter if you have used the product. They might mislead you to buy skyrunner.

I confirm they are definitely Skyrunners although I think that the name on the box would have been a giveaway in the first place. As XS said, Skyrunners are made by Bowei Powerwell and if you look carefully at the stilts you should be able to see a small chrome seal with the word Powerwell on it.

The springs are made to handle between 30 to 50 kg. They would not take 60 kg in my opinion but that's a mute point.

No doubt the stilts are making terrible noises and the spring performance itself is rubbish. I said it before but I'll repeat it anyway, changing the springs to a pair of 7 League Theros will totally transform those stilts. You can get a pair from 7 Leagues London.

I'm not sure you can't get a refund. As I understand it, you live in the UK and that's one of the countries they are not allowed to sell to. Skyrunners are illegal in the UK but how you would go about enforcing your consumer rights against this retailer is unknown to me because he is outside of the UK.

OMG. this is so annoying. There are so many people that sell stilts on here a thread hardly passes without a plug somewhere. There is Slezoj on the questions thread. You bigging up sevens here. Why can't a thread go buy without mentioning what brands are better.

And anyway...skyrunners are bad quality. Its not just the springs, so you would need to change the whole thing "transform" them. You would be better off just buying a whole set of projumps imo. great springs and bad frames is not too much good. Just get a whole set of something decent. And yes. I am now talking about brands. But...I am a real person who uses these things, doesnt sell them. I have tried a lot of bocks and I have my own opinions that have nothing to do with me selling and making money.

to slezoj .... i think you was looking at the adult flying locusts not the junior ones ..... the junior ones have been 100 euros every time i've looked over the past couple of weeks.

I really don't know what I'm supposed to do now regarding these .... my grandson is just so delighted he's got them but obviously I cant risk him getting hurt if the spring breaks unexpectedly.  And times are hard (as everyone knows), so can't really afford to buy him another pair.

Hi Cantallian. I think it is not good idea to upgrade the skyrunner with 7's spring. It is just waste of money, because construction itself is very unsafe and I would never put my kid on skyrunner.
I would rather invest more money and buy whole set of 7's Thera or Poweriser PR3050.

HI Karen,

Powerstrider is definitely better quality than skurunner, but I have never come across with kids powerstrider so I can't say. However if you manage to to get your 150EUR back I can send you original POWERISER PR3050 for that price include shipping. But u need to tell me your location because I can't send it to UK.

I would tell them that they mislead you and you want your money back  (if you are in UK they are illegal anyway) or try to sell them on ebay and add little more to it and buy something better (I would personally throw them away into rubbish bin) . It is a pity that you didn't come here before purchase. I think that everyone would help you to find a proper pair.

I'm fed up of saying that I paid 100 euros not 150!!! And that I am in the UK

I just want to know now what to do for the best.  It is not clear that these are definitely skyrunners and NOT flying locusts - it does say skyrunners on the  box.

I have posted the ebay link for opinions please ....

Thank you

Sorry my bad. I always forget that ;-) U can also claim that they mislead you with picture - because on the picture is old version of POWERISER KIDS and not the product you received.
