Is it possible to stand still with poweriser? This might sound stupid but I really need to know, or we need to keep on walking non-stop once we wear it on.  Huh

Hey jumpjump,
firstly welcome to poweriserpages and thanks for registering.
It is actually impossible to stand still when wearing them, because the 'hoof' of the Powerisers is of such a small area.
You have to keep moving from foot to foot, or take small steps.

You find when you start off it is very difficult to stay in a small area but with a bit of practice you only need to make very small steps on the spot but as Matt says it is impossible to stand still due to the shape of the pad.

What if you spread your weight by slightly spreading your legs (enough to be balanced)? wouldn't that work?

That wouldn't work, because however you stand, you must put your centre of gravity directly above the line that the two hooves create- which is very difficult and in fact impossible in practice because of the instability.

i can stand still, or pretty darn close to it, and i've only worn them for two hours so far.

I shift my weight slightly, and it does all the work for me

dominion,
Do you repeatedly put all your weight over one hoof, then shift it over to the other?

No, i just stand very still and bear down on my hips.

Lock your knees, and elbows.  Keep your arms at your sides.

You should easily be able to stand still for 30-60 seconds, without lifting a foot.

Well, I can.  Took me a few hours to get used to.
