re no shoes   I experimented last year, but didnt finish.

1st to get the bindings tight --the ol flip flop on foot plate ( where the idea which short asses may now use originally comes from)
2Using cacble tyes, attach extra padding to the binding straps ( some form of bendy foam
3 the big prob --I didnt get round to solving --some form of foam needs to go on the heal area   or you get rubbed hidiously raw

So if any1 wants to continue with the experiments, so one can just wear flip flops or go barefoot in summer on bocks --rather than wear hot stinky trainers

well you will have to get a comfortable foam as it will be against your foot, 2nd you wouldnt want to use cable tyes...cause if that gets rubbing on your foot...OUCH..maybe use some sort of glue?

no cable ties OK  cos they 'pinch' into the foam ( or stuff Iused) and dont touch the skin

What up yall?!?!

I am new to powerising and this website!  I found out about these things about a year ago and haven't had much luck in finding anyone who knows anything about them.  No one in the US seems to know anything about powerisers.   Nonetheless I bought them and LOVE THEM!

I am looking for places and people to practice with but am having trouble.  I found this place and figured I would give it a shot!

ROCK OUT BABY!!!

Hello!

Im Kris, found out about this site and jsut ha to register.  Very new to bocking, but i learn fast and got pretty damn good balance.

I am currently using my brothers 06 model powerisers when he lets me, as my new and improved 07 PR90120 is ordered but not arrived.  At first i found them silly tbh, then he talked me into trying, and knowing my buttons and getting me into a competitive mood i did, was running around the backyard 2 minutes later.  Been on them 5 times now, and today i fell over while running and managed to scrape off most my skin on my right elbow as well as my left palm.  Being as persistant as i am that only motivated me to get right back up and keep running, to my best friends amazement.  (he is rly scared of hights and hoped i wud hurt myself and get demotivated as im making him buy a pair as well Wink

Anybody know if there is any other bockers in or around Oslo? never seen anyone other than me and my brother -.-

Welcome to our forum!  I hope you find it useful.  Just some advice, you should have some pads while you're learning.

I have no idea if there is anyone near you, but you should check the member map first.

Um, yeah you can let it stop you, check out my sig for a painful reminder! In regards to thinking about falling over well normally you dont get that luxury you're on the way down and then you start to think about wether you want to land on your face or padless wrists/arms/elbows.
