Hello all!

I have been trolling aroundthe forum for a few days deciding if I wanted to buy a pair of the ol' jumpin' stilts.  But with paycheck freshly deposited in my bank account I just bought the a pair using the JumpUSA deal and have registered my account here.  I called JumpUSA and they said they weren't back in stock yet so I am sure it will be awhile before I get any product.  I am going to make sure to use the time before I get them to get stuff ready for mods and a little physical training while I am it. I want to be ready when they arrive.

YO TO ALL MY SOON TO BE BOCKING-BROTHERS!!!
From here in SoCal, no less. Grin

It's absolutely awesome!! I FINALLY ordered my PoweriZers this morning, and they should be here in about five days!!!! Yay!!! I just hope that I can restrain myself from gnawing my left arm off in excitement. Cheesy

I first saw them on Junkyard Challenge (well something similar, anyway) and I decided right then that I would own a pair or something better. I looked em up on the net and found Powerisers.....too bad I was broke at the time.

I't been about a year since then, and I just saw a video on the net of a guy jumping around on some risers, and it must be by God's will that the day I saw that video was the day I got my first paycheck.  Cool

So I go my Dad to order em for me, and now I just gotta wait. Be sure that once they do get here, I'm gonna be posting some pics and videos out the wazoo. Tongue

Hello to all in the bocking and piping community!  My name is Ryan and I live in Tucson, AZ.  I just got my Powerizers last week after seeing them a few years back.  I was hoping to be the first in town, but it appears there already are a few.  My Rizers came in during the time the site was off-line, so I was going crazy trying to remember all of the tips you all have posted.  Thanks to all of you that have made the learning curve of this hobby that much easier.

On a side note, my other passion is playing the bagpipes.  With all of the people from the UK, I wonder if there are any other pipers out there.

Hi everyone. I don't have stilts yet. A couple of years ago, I saw the Cirque du Soleil show "Varekai" and there were performers with some type of jumping stilts. I searched for them on the internet but didn't know what to call them, so I wasn't able to find anything. A year or so later, I was Googling for info on articulated robot legs (so I could play with my Lego Mindstorms kit) and I turned up a page on Velocity stilts. Once I learned that the proper search term was "jumping stilts", I started reading up on them and have put in a few bids on eBay for them, but haven't won a set yet.

Hi Zlosk!
Thanks for joining!
I had the same problem when I couldn't remember what Powerisers were called and I wanted to look at them on the net. I thought the guy called them Paralyzers! Glad you found us though!

Good luck if you do decide to buy a pair.

Hi,  I am from Essex in the UK! I got my Powerisers about two weeks ago, and join the growing number in our group (there are 9 of us with them now!) I bought a pair after borrowing a friends to walk on in our local carnival.
