I suggest the best things to do once the box arrives through your letterbox (ha ha) are:-

1.  RTFM. This is important.

2.  Spend an hour or two staggering about with an assistant to help you up, provide support and take unflattering photographs.

3.  Start bouncing around.

4.  By this stage, you'll have questions. Post them on this forum.

Good luck!

Yeah, good luck woody!
Have a look at this video:
http://www.PoweriserPages.com/articles/2006/04/01/video-article-poweriser-malarky/
it is of me and my friends, one of them is a complete beginners,  the others have practised once or twice. I guess it might give you an idea as to how you might progress.
I suggest starting out near a wall, so you can lean on it.

Hi everybody!  This is my first time in a forum so I'm not sure if this will work. Undecided

I just got my poweriser 7090s on Friday and took to them pretty quickly! I'm already bopping about scaring the neighbors!  I'm 11st, right on the divide between the 5070s and 7090s, so after a lot of reading on the net including here i decided to go with the bigger pair.

A little disappointed though...  Cry its rained nearly everyday since I got them (I do live in Scotland after all).  But tonight I'm going to my mum's work to have a go indoors (a sports centre with a MASSIVE indoor sports hall!). Grin

Hey Ryan,

I'm glad you decided to register, and very happy that this is your first forum!

I think you'll find that it'll be a wee while before you can get full use of your 7090s at your weight- but once they're broken in, they'll be superb fun. Just don't get fed up with them at any point, and post here if you have any troubles/problems.

I live in Scotland too, as does 'Razor' we both go to the same school in Edinburgh and are doing our Highers at the moment.

Well last night was great, i got full use of the sports hall i was talking about but i didn't realise how unfit I am! I should really go to the gym.

I thought i recognised the buildings as Edinburgh in your Articles section.  I work in Edinburgh and live in East Lothian.

I think my  need a wee bit lubricant somewhere, they sound like a duck when i bounce.

Good luck with the Highers, i just finished uni last week, and now i have to work

I've been reading the forums for a while and finally decided to register. I don't have my risers in yet, but I can't wait till Monday!

I ordered the 7090's even though I'm under the weight limit, I figured I'd rather have them harder to compress so I can jump higher.

Well, I'll have a few different uses for them. I help out a local haunted house around halloween. I figured I can do both a clown-like character and an animal with my risers. Thanks to the curve of the spring, I can get a lot closer to being anatomically correct with the way a cat or dog's hind legs look. It'll be a while before I have the body-suit completed, but I'll post pics fully geared when I get to that point.

Awesome!  I can't wait to see what you can come up with Smiley

Nice to have you on the forums, and I can't wait to see what you have to contribute to our community.  Smiley  Where are you located(country, state, etc), and how old are you?

PS: the slightly stronger springs will serve you well!  It seems to be the case, that whomever goes for springs that are rated slightly higher than their body weight is having good results.

Hey guys,

Just found your site, i have just got my power risers through after a 5 week wait for them! i got hooked playing with a friends pair,

great toy, after looking at your mods page, im off out to get a set of snow board bindings, top idea that as the clips that are on mine as std are a bit flakey.

i know 4 other people who have a pair where i am, so it should be great fun at a few events that we are at later in the year i think.

Thanks,

Mk
