Hi,

I probably have the only Powerisers in the UAE.

I first saw something very similar a few years ago on Junkyard Challenge and decided then that I wanted a pair. Then in August 2005 I encountered a couple of people near HMS Victory in Portsmouth. The guy was wearing some (with very long and voluminous trousers covering the Powerisers).

At this point I decided I was definitely going to get some. My thanks to my girlfriend  for responding to my less than subtle hints: mentioning Powerisers every day for four months resulted in a Christmas present  Cool

All I have to do now is get beyond walking and running. Given my age and fitness, I don't suppose somersaults are ever very likely  Cry

Welcome to the Forums!
That's really interesting.
I, too, decided to mention Powerisers every day after seeing my Rock Climbing instructor using them one day. Indeed it resulted in a birthday present.
Walking and running is where I am also at the moment, and I don't think sommersaults will ever be at all likely! They really are for the mad/pros.
I'm just improving my technique so that it feels more like walking on the moon with them on.

Aloha!

I just ordered my Powerisers this week, and can't wait to get to them. I saw them on a TV commercial and had to have a pair. I have never seen them in person, I don't think there are any here in the Islands? BTW, after I ordered them my wife didn't speak to me for the rest of the day!! I even tried to tell her that they were for her!

You clearly need to get your wife some as well. Then you can both go jogging and/or head turning.

Those Fly Jumper things sound interesting.

Hey Razor-
Razor is a mate who is being modest when he says he powerises 'socially' on my powerisers!

Is it possible to powerise 'antisocially'?

I haven't been thrown out of a mall...yet. That's because it's not too hot to powerise outside...yet. There are plenty of signs in the local malls banning in-line skates, lazer scooters, skateboards, etc., but not bouncy stilts...yet.

Running over unsuspecting shoppers (albeit accidentally) might count as 'antisocially'. Coming soon: The world's first Poweriser ASBO!
