well i got my powerisers the other day [about four days ago] well the calf plate snapped right in half i am so fu..in mad right now i cant believe that happened i contacted the company but i probably wont heart anything till monday witch sucks they better replace it tho cause that shouldnt have happened i didnt even touch that part of the poweriser i have a year waranty so do you think they would replace it

they should do, from what in have heard in the forum it has happened to a couple of people and they have had some great responce, if i remember what the waranty said is it exclude wear and tear but if you just got them and they snapped they should replace them, product defect or somthing, like you said it shouldnt have happened.

anyway welcome, i know its not my job but i fell i should say hello.

Yep  no need for it ( indeed if your calf reachfar enuff back to touch it  you would probably find the rubbing annoying and remove them!). Ive only got 1 fitted on my stilts at the mo.

But how did it split?  Not exactly a critical spot.

ok cool thanks but also the plastic piece that it connects to were the long bolts go through is cracked off so there is only three bolts holding the knee bar on instead of four

When you put that new plastic piece on that holds the knee bar from sliding up and down, DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE BLACK HEX BOLTS!!!  If you crank them down too much the black plastic will snap again.  Just make them snug enough so the knee bar doesn't slide.

thats what i figured the reason they were broke is cause who ever tightened them did it to much
