Hi all.  I'm seventeen years old and I live in Hampton, New Hampshire, USA.  I'm a pretty new bocker and underexperienced for the time I've had mine due to the local weather and their nonexistant traction on ice.  I was reading through the mods section when I decided I HAD to join this.  I love tinkering, but I lack the skills and resources to do anything interesting.  For example, here's an idea that I can't really implement: the anti-chav mod.  It's a pointy metal spike protruding from the top of the hoof, pointing about 20 degrees above horizontal.  I think it would be a fine deterrent to any would-be thief like in the post, "Beware of 14-year-olds on miniscooters"

Hi, I'm Mairs, (female adult). I haven't bought mine yet. Probably mid January as I'll be pulling in some more cash from my business. I'm using the site right now in deciding which to buy. I was leaning toward Raptors until I found out 7's aren't in the US yet. So I think advanced PR 5070's. I'm landlocked now in New Mexico, USA. I used to live in Southern California and windsurfed, which I really miss!

Several months ago I saw people bocking in a TV advertisement, just flashing by in an ad for something else. I was smitten with them but had no idea what they were. No I know, luckily!

Love reading your comments, videos, and info. You guys are great!

I'm from the south east as well ^^

Chris here. My girlfriend, Jo, surpassed herself this christmas and bought me a pair of powerizers, un-prompted! I've been out on them as much as possible since (work and my shocking fitness levels have kept me from using them all day, every day) and since I shared the bouncy goodness with her, her pair (powerisers 07) arrive on tuesday.

I'm in Maidstone, Kent but mostly sticking to playgrounds in Larkfield until my pads arrive.

Awesome forum btw. The modifications forum inparticular was very helpful.

Hey everyone... as always its a bit overwhelming being new at something but it has to happen sometime right? So I got my broken legs in a box delivered today... I took them out and started to get used to walking on them. I live in NYC though I'm only turning 17 this march so count me out for any bocking meets requiring a bit of a travel. Nice to meet everyone  Cheesy

Im a US dude.  Long time gymnast. Mostly bought a pair of jump stilts  to bounce around town to promote my businesss.  (Trampoline and Acrobatic school). Not sure if I'll make the papers as an article of a local crazy man or a police blotter about hauling me off to the hospital:D

Hi I am an imposter! In that I have no intention of strapping a pair of bocks to my feet however my 14yr old lunatic fearless child - Bertie, is a different matter and he will replace me when I manage to find out what Bocks to buy him for his impending birthday!
Please can someone help because I have spent far too many hours being given conflicting advice and I am now completely confused and before you all say read the knowledge section I have - several times but there is almost too much info, if that is possible.
Here is the quandry, Bertie about to be 14 is a ball of fire with NO fear (hence known as the casualty kid) he loves climbing and anything that involves terrifying his mother, so Bocks were inevitable, however he is 148cm approx tall (under 5ft) and very light only 40kgs approx (great climbing physique!) so what do I buy, the junior ones which would be right for his weight I fear will be dissapointing after a while, also some of them look very plasticy and dare I say, not  'the real I am' at all, however will the adult ones be too much of a jump in that he does not have much weight to get them going!! Also what would be the best make for him??
Don't want to waste money buying the wrong ones and they are on the whole non- returnable, so would be very grateful for any constructive advice as I am greying rapidly and need to purchase for Birthday on 10th Feb.
By the way we live 26 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne, nr Hexham so if there are any other lunatics who might like give him a tutorial - excellent!
Many thanks
