Maybe a silly question but what are calf cuffs and what are they used for?

calf cuffs r a part that replaces the kneebars.  it wraps around ur whole leg, instead of just the bar and little strap.  it is much more secure and comfortable.  Here is a link to show u wat they look like : http://www.getjumpingstilts.com/pwadcacu1pa.html

Kneebar:
Big, Bulky, Not comfortable, not as secure.

Calf Cuffs:
Better fit, more secure, lot more comfortable. (These bocks are mine, but that's not me on them).

Some people prefer cuffs, some people prefer kneebars (added protection from the bar). Pinhead straps improve kneebars a lot too... But I prefer cuffs Smiley

If I still lived in my mom's house in NH, I'd be able to dismantle my old pair and sell you my cuffs, but I'm on the other side of the country...  but I'll have access to them around Christmas time if this is something you don't intend to do soon, I could sell them to you then.  The Velcro on the straps is a bit ratty, but they work fine.

7 Pro Energy + Cuffs + Dominion's own snowboard bindings.  Soon enough it'll be a reality.

I'd go with 7's, unless you are over 14 stone then I'd go for PoweriSer's.

Thanks for the help

One of the 7leagues says it comes with Pro EVO binding system 1 or 2 and a pair of elite quick release knee brace straps

Can someone tell me what this is and if this is the same as the calf cuffs?

evo bindings are upgraded bindings for your feet, 1 or 2 are just differents styles, both are far superior to the stock plastic bindings.

quick release knee brace straps are an extra system to tie yourself into the knee bar, this is very different from cuffs, they both hold very securely though.
