I got my Powerisers awhile ago, and used them for a short time, only because it was winter soon, and I forgot about them.
I've recently started back up, and can walk around quite confidentally [I stagger occasionally, but hopefully I will get better soon]

Around the house [on a carpeted surface, for no other reason than my parents don't want me on the tiles, and the wooden area is too small] I've been able to make small hops about the place for around a second or two, but I stop after awhile. Maybe it's because I'm loosing balance, I can't remember.

So, do you guys have any tips?
I can kinda run, but I haven't tried outside yet.

Well, go outside and go crazy.  Seriously, it will take a while to get use to them but you will see steady progress.  Best initial advice is to lift your feet because they weigh more and walk/bounce with your feet pointing straight ahead so the springs don't knock together and trip you up.

I have been outside, that's where I stumble a little, [at last try, twice]

And I'm in London, Wandsworth.
As far as I know, the closest people to me are in Bournemouth. I could be wrong though.

Your definatly wrong, there are quite a few members in and around London:
Janelle, Muncher, Manni to name a few

There is also a very large group in essex and a smaller group in Kent

IF you havn't already, get some pads and take it all outside, you will progress a lot faster with more space to move around in

I only knew about them through my brother, who sees them around sometimes.
But yes, I shall. Hmm, pads might be a bit harder to get. Only because we don't have any I don't think.
I'll go have a look sometime tomorrow maybe.

Yeah, pads are essential they will give you a lot more confidence because you know that if you fall it won't hurt you.

The main pads you need are Wrists and Knees as this is where most of impact from a fall goes, elbows can also be worn if you want to feel totally protected.

Is your brother in Bournemouth?

Haha, will do.
I'm more excited and nervous about learning to jump, but, I suppose that's normal. Right?
Right?!
Cheesy
But yes. He is.
He's studying at Bournemouth university of arts or something.

@Janelle - Sure, if I can. I'm not at college/uni Thursday through Sunday.

I might try to go to my old school and see if I can use their gym while they're in other lessons, I think they wont let me though

I also don't know how to get up when I fall (if there is nothing to use to get up). D:

I love it Cheesy its so easy to meet others in your area and no matter where you live there nearly always seems to be someone, if not there is always someone not to far away, i mean i live in mk which is only about an hours drive or so, so if im down there for some reason maybe we could meet up or i could arrange to come down there, the possibilities are endless. yeah its a VERY social sport, with a very busy calander, theres always stuff going on all over the uk, and the island aint that big so its only gonna get better in that respect.
ive been helping K-rock get his jumps down of late and we seem to find that a good way to get over the fear of the height you get, and to maintain that height is to jump off stuff.
start with a step or a curb, land with both feet at the same time and you will bounce, do that for a bit, then try to do another bounce after you land, if you keep at this for 30 minutes or so youll soon find your looking for summat bigger to jump off, and that you can maintain the bounces after youve jumped.
but i think you should try and hold a lamp post or summat and learn to bounce on your bocks first.
dont jump before you can walk sorta thing

Hey man,

I have made some tutorials on my YouTube channel...http://uk.youtube.com/user/urbantricker

They might be helpful.

Best thing to do is film yourself attempting a new trick or bouncing or whatever and then compare it to another video and see what you might be doing wrong or what you think you are doing right and the concentrate on doing those things better.

Yaay, I went out to the local park and put them on, I started to be able to jog, but not fully run. Aside from that, I sort-of jumped once, but only holding onto a railing.
Some people came up and asked what I was doing/ where to get them... I think I scared some dogs as well.
I'll probably go out again tomorrow.
I sort-of got up with no support, but not graciously...haha! Grin

Nice one, keep it going!

You will always get people come up and ask you what they are because no one has really seen them before!

Good luck!
