Hi guys,

Congratulations on the site- it was a deciding factor in me getting my bocks- ive been reading the forums for a while now. On choosing the S-rex R's I'm now set on scouring your pages so I can modify them to make them a little more comfortable! (do you guys pad out your knee section alot?)

A little about me. The name's Dan, Im 28, from Fordingbridge in Hampshire (nr Ringwood, 20mins from B'mth) and I believe I'm the only person in the town with bocks right now. After buying them for myself for my B'day recently I'm just enjoying prancing about and taking my first unaided steps. Seems like a great way for me to get my fitness back over the summer.

My practise area is a little restricted so I'm not exactly somersaulting cars yet!- right now I'll be happy just to learn to stand up myself and bounce about a bit (without the aid of a wall!).

I used to DJ in Bournemouth a few years back and have been going out there for years, so know the town well- i was under the impression there was quite a big bocking scene in the nearby area? Perhaps, when I feel I wont be embarassing myself, I will end up popping along to a meet... we'll see Smiley

Anyhoo, congratz again on the site, you seem to have a great collection of information and people- Long may you continue to bounce!

Hi Dan.

Yes there are one or 2 of us down in the south. 1st off dont think you have to be good to meet peeps. In fact meet people as soon as possible ---stops you adopting but techniques for a start.

If you are interested there is a training session in a gym on sunday. Sir david English centre -by the grammar schools. 12-1400 then probably a bounce around the town after.

All abilities will be there. Atleast 1 total noob a couple who are in a fight to the death to see which of them flips 1st another who is training to flip a car ( he is close) and others all about.

Next week will see us start our weekday summer evening meets . Thursdays odd days bournemouth evens Poole

Please check out our own forum  jurassicjumpers.co.uk/forum

Oh and yes --- the S rex knee loops are gigantic and deffo need padding.

What clubs did ou dj at?

Woop!
Welcome to the forum and the lovley world of bocking!

There is a group of around 20 of us in total who have meet ups around the south coast, including: Bournemouth, Poole, Portsmouth, Southampton, Weymouth etc

Your more than welcome to come along to any meets we have and don't be worried that you aren't good enough, we have people joining all the time and therefore have some people who have just learnt to walk and jump and others who can do front and back flips.

As Q said check out the website and forum

Probably meet you sooner or later
