Hi,
Im very very new to bocks and hardly know anything about them. I saw them today at i wanted them, so i started research on them and came across this handy forum.

Anyway lets get to the point i need a pair of bocks and from reading through 7 leagues look very good.
I'm only 13 and weight 42kg and i was wondering if i would have to get the Thero frame or would i be able to use the Raptor frame.
Thanks for the help. Cheesy

you're heavy enough to use raptors, all depends on your heights, 5' is about t he minimum to fit in the adult frames, and you'll still have to put a block on the foot plate to fit right, about 5'2"-5'3" or more and you'll be fine no block required.

yep 1 way or other dont go for theros. Dont get me wrong, they are good . But if they are OK for you now , you will out grow them within months. Best is to wait or as XS suggests, cheat and put a block on the foot plate to make you 'fit' raptors.
If you are on the light side it doesnt matter too much, it just means you will not be able to compress the springs fully when you bounce --so will not get as big a bounce as you see on some of the vids here. On the plus side it tends to make people really concentrate on their 'style' so as a result end up better bockers.

So besides weight  tell us your height

can you get to bournemouth tomorrow   the square by 12 noon?  there should be 2 or 3 peeps with raptors there  im pretty damn certain they will let you have a try ---also they all just happen to have spare pairs of different makes but that weight  --if you say yay or nay quick enuff I can get a pair of stilts available for you to try out for a days bocking in bournemouth tomorrow.

If you cant make it--dont panic. We have regular training sessions in a nice safe warm padded gym and  were planning to announce next week a 'try out ' plan.  Next gym session is  bournemouth next Sunday -with luck Drchester week after.
