Hi,

Am new this this Cool Site, hope I am putting this Question in the correct Place!!

I am yet to even see any Poweriser's in the Flesh.

I have just purchased and am awaiting delivery of a pair of Poweriser PR-7090 off Fleebay second hand (Cheap!!) My problem is I am 15.5 Stone!!

Are thay going to Snap as soon as I bounce?

If (as I am sure I will) I need stronger springs, has anyone any suitable for sale or let can let  :)me know who to purchase from? Preferably cheap!

Regards
Adam

Your not to fat to bock, but your going to bottom out those stilts very soon.

You could either sell your PoweriSers as a whole or you could just buy new springs.

You could buy the springs most cheaply from projump: www.projump.co.uk

Hope this helps

Can we PLEASE use KG's like the retailers do! ** We now sell PR11-14's , doesnt really work! **

Asmiffy, welcome to the forum. At 15.5st you're ~95kg which is outside the weight bracket of the springs you're looking at. You'll bottom out soon (esp if they're second hand and could've been softened up already depending on previous user*) if not snap them entirely.

Cancel the transaction if you can or as Athoul said get a new set of springs in the 90-120 range (14-18st).

Won't it be easier for him to learn on those springs before getting hardcore ones? I learnt on M70's before moving up to M100's (which are now working awesomely) and the learning curve on the softer springs was much much faster than on the tough springs.

They will be VERY soft.  It might not be a bad idea to keep them around for a while if you can't cancel the transaction or anything, but you will want 90120s some time.  Or equivalent Pro-Jump springs, whatever you choose.

yeah, you're not too fat to bock, you just bought the wrong stilts.  You need PoweriSer 90120s or Projump M110 or 120(do they still sell these?)  the ones you have will do for a while, but you'll get maybe 2 ft of air out of them and bottom out quite often.  so learn how to use them, make sure you love the sport (you will) and then buy some springs that are actually meant for you weight.

If you are too fat to bock, then I am also.  I am also 15.5 stone but it hasn't hindered me much.

Gents
Thanks for all the advice above, I was most worried that I might snap the lighter weight springs, rather than being Too Fat to Bock. I paid £66 for the Poweriser PR-7090's off Fleebay, so can afford some Spring upgrades when I have Found My Feet!! Also my brother, 10 years older but only about 12 stone may take the 7090's of my hands, but if anyonewants to get Rid of some 90120 or M110 (Springs)?. Is there a Forsale/ Wanted section on this Mighty Site?
Take care all

Pro-jump.co.uk sell quality springs at a very reasonable price. £75 for a pair.

That's where I got mine from.
