Hi all,

Was at a carnival last night in Essex, about 30,000 people in total (estimated) and we're in rabbit costumes so boucning around made perfect sence, won Best In Procession (score!), aaaaaaaanyway on of our squad clipped my feet, the beams crossed and I fell. However, because we wear pads - I dont go up without pads - zero damage was done.
Ground support were on hand but not needed as I can and did get up unaided on the first attempt to a nice applause!

YAY ME! Yay Essex Network!

Its all the more reason to get back up! If everyone grounded and didnt get up again then Powerising would go out overnight. You have to get back up, laugh it off, LEARN from your (or others as it was, Jake I'm looking at you  Angry) mistakes and carry on.

DON'T STAY GROUNDED!

I lost almost all my confidence after my first fall as it wasn't pleasant. It's taken about 2 weeks to feel as confident again.

I had my first fall from PRs, and since I was wearing all of rrcraig's padding (And extra-thick pants/shirt) I barely noticed, except for a small bruise on my knee.

As soon as I pay for this damned furnace, fridge, oil, car, insurance Sad bleh, whatever else, i'm gettin a pair!

Growin' up sucks.

Oh yeah, I meant to ask you about that.  Healing up nicely, I hope.  I'm a big believer in protective gear.  That fall probably would've hurt like the dickens without kneepads on.

You could follow my example and just grow old without growing up.   Wink

With my first bail I laughed so hard after getting up I fell again straight away. Didn't hurt as much as I thought but I was going quite slowly.
