yea, dont even think of getting a new pair yet at all.  unless u can easily bottom ur current springs, as bottoming spring too much will kill ur back.  i havent been a ble to bock for a week because of botttoming my t-rexs too much, and i just tried again 5 mmins ago.  didnt work at all, my back still wont let me bock.  i need to learn to not push so hard i guess, as i only weigh 55kg and on t-rexs.

FL are possibly THE worst stilts in the world so ive heard. I would say a set of PoweriSer are a good idea. Just make sure they arnt trying to sell them with a Z in the name. FL may of stopped making those with the name poweriZer but im sure there are still people selling them as such.

Hold your horses lol...1 we are off topic. 2) you just made a claim on something you had heard.

Flying locust stilts are sold under all sorts of names. PoweriZer, air trekker, fly jumper. Pro-jump..the list goes on.
And no, they are not the worst stilts in the world. Skyrunners are. Flying locust stilts are actually very good. The frames are very good. Problems are uncommon. I have seen and heard from people who have used poweriser pro's that say the frame is not so good and doesnt take a lots of hard bocking.

The springs maybe different. When you pay more for springs you are paying for responsivity and not quality. You can get the same amount of height out of any stilts. It just might take more effort and the right skill to do it on less responsive springs. I have not heard any where that powersiser springs are super amazing or anything. That why the usually upgrade to 7's and not them.

Evidently you've never heard of skyrunners Cheesy

FlyingLocust aren't that bad, especially since they've upped their game, Pro-Jump's versions are damn good now compared to how they used to be. PoweriZer simply changed their name to powerstrider after legal action by poweriSer, all sellers now sell them as powerstriders or airtrekkers. It's illegal for them to do otherwise.

i have to disagree with u here spud.  wen u pay more for springs u r paying for boh responsiveness and quality.  7's and powerskip springs have a better character then others as u have said, but they also last longer.  7's springs will last much longert then a pair of FL springs.  there have also been many more breaks with FL then others.  also, u dont really here of 7's wearing out an getting rediculously soft, while u do with other springs.  so yea, u r paying for both quality and spring character.

I have to agree with spud, it's definately character not quality.

I know people who have used 7s and FL and both have lasted the same amount of time. Examples include Becky and Chocl8.
tundraH's projump springs are about 9 months old now, maybe more, and he was smashing through skips in hours.

My 7's are 18 months old now and my springs are f***ed. Infact they've been like it for almost 4 months now. They're really, really soft and worn out, I've put other people on them (including people used to T&S-Rex's) and they love them because they're so wrecked they use no effort at all and have the same response no matter how far you push them, even at bottoming out. There is no distinct soft then hard change on them, they're soft all the way. They're probably better than normal raptors, it's mad Cheesy
If i took the covers off I think they'd probably peel apart in my hands.
