Personally, I have no idea on how best to do flips- I'm not that confident.
I might write an article about how to do flips though, based on other sources. What do you think?

i have never been brave enough to attempt a flip! i think its just a matter of 1. being able to jump high and 2. being brave enough!!  Cheesy

Quality video ... i am trying to build up the courage to do a flip. My mate has a bouncy castle that i want try and flip on to, but he wont let me as he is scared of punctures!

If i can convince him i reckon i will be able to do it!

I recommend practicing on a trampoline first. Backflips are easier to do because you can spot your landing as you flip. If you use a trampoline you should be able to get access to a rig (its used for flip practicing to stop you landing on your head) the next step ideally is to see if you could use the rig with your powerisers rather than a trampoline.

If you cant do a flip and land on your feet on a trampoline i would recommend against trying it on powerisers as the potensual for injury is high. If you cannot get access to a rig then make sure you use all the safety gear you have and try on grass not concrete.

Tip: remember to really tuck your legs in to create rotation, other wise you moght just come down flat!

Yeah, that is such a cool video!

I added it to the videos section, in fact: here.

That flip over the truck looked pretty close to a pretty bad injury, I thought.

I would like to try some flips myself, but i dont think i am confident enough yet to do them, they look simple when you see them done but i think they will be quite hard to pull off, i might give it a go soon tho, well you never know unless you try it out i guess  Smiley

what standard are you at Keith? i get the impression you are reasonably experienced?

I have said this before, I think you need to have confidence more than ability, because once you are decent enough at something, its just getting the belief in you to do it! hope im not getting to philosophical Tongue....

Maybe i could pull of a flip if i had the guts, but i dont think i do right now, i just keep thinking about what if it dose go wrong when im in midair haha but who knows it might happen this weekend (i will post back if i do anything different)
