Will probably involve spraying lit paraffin out the back when the springs compress.

Now thats a cool idea, will be great if you can actually pull it off

Dont encourage him! He will actually end up with flaming stilts if he works out how! Pyromaniac! Smiley
I've worked it out how to shoot flames out of the back of the springs  Cool
Logged

Dad why's he running bocking ?
Because he can take it.

I'm 235 better than 26457 others but counts for nothing.

No ? These flames wouldn't last long before you need to refuel them but are very hot !

What about the possibility of Vinyl flames. Like that unicycle pic they look like that, think high quality stickers essentially. The problem with using stickers is that they may not flex too well so concider where you're putting them. That said, I'd've thought the most flex would be on the INSIDE of the spring, though it would be the same but inverted(?) on the outside of the spring.
Failing that, paint or spraying. Could do a cool glitter get up? eBay Glitter Paint
OR you can do something out of fabric, that way its sewn on/fixed and wont split as the baggyness it has will take any flexing.

Vinyl would be your best bet, as it is a pliable material. It should stretch/shrink as the spring does it's thing. Make sure you get a vinyl sticker with industrial strength glue.

only problem is if you do any kind of plastic design it's gonna get damaged like the spring protection, i'd say use fabric, my bocks had floofy plush fur on thye springs for a while and it never ripped or got holes, though the spring underneath still got damaged abut the same amount
