What's a "double spring grab" (or a single one)?
I've gone 7 miles on varying terrain now, and I just can't fall! (sickening, isn't it?) -Any tips?
The safety equipment I've used the most is my helmet: So far I've walked into about a dozen bits of bus shelters, a few signposts, and a cast-iron chandelier in a Pub. 'Just can't see the things.

I find I sweat behind my knee/shin pads but I wear a t-shirt and my elbow pads keeps me warm  Smiley

I don't wear a helmet but I did break three teeth once on a helmet strap. I got whip lash on my motor bike when some stupid w####er rammed me at traffic lights.

Continue wearing your elbow pads. You will need them if
1. You fall backwards
2. You fall while running.

Single

Double

Quite simply, you jump, pull your legs back and grab the spring(s)

Swebounce are so awesome they can't cry. They don't have tear ducts. Grin
You gotta remember Micke tore every ligament in his right knee, and was told he wouldn't walk for 2 years. A year later and he was already backflipping on bocks again. Nothing stops them Tongue

So if you grab both springs with one hand or one spring with both hands, is that a double or single. Are we referring to number of springs or hands used?

no one spring per hand, so a spring grab is one spring in one hand, and a double is one spring in each hand
grabbing both with one hand wouldn't really look any diff than grabbing one, just more likely to get your fingers crunched between them

Springs used.
Two hands on one spring is very hard.

We should start another trick name thread. I know there is an old locked one somewhere on the forum. My thought is, since a lot of tricks are borrowed from other sports, but done on bocks, they should have new names specific to bocking; ie double spring grab (granted, spins you can't really call other things except rotation degrees like 360's, cause a twirly sounds lame). What do you guys think?
