i just came back from bocking a couple minutes ago.  i have had my first legit fall.  i was practicing my double spring grabs and started really getting the hang of it.  i tried to hold it for longer each time.  the last time i tried i held it for too long.  i obviously fell pretty hard.  Im reallt happy that i fell though, as now i know that it doesnt hurt that bad, now im not going to have a fear of falling Smiley  oh, and im really happy i had my pads on Wink

as long as you get to your knees and are wearing kneepads falling from jumping isn't bad, falling from running is way scarier for me, but even then, usually doesn't hurt, just wear your pads.

Every time I've had a fall (3 times now). It's always been while running, so I end up skidding across the pavement. The elbow pads have saved me each time.

I'd recommend them.

It's good to get a bit of the fear out of the way, just make sure you still have respect for what you are doing. As the old saying goes, only the fool has no fear.

I wear knee/shin, elbow and wrist pads.
One once I start to flip I may wear something on my back.

It's always better to have something and not use it than to need something and not have it  Smiley

Dad why's he running bocking ?
Because he can take it.

I'm 235 better than 26457 others but counts for nothing.
