This past November, XarnuSonci, Dominion and I were filmed in Central Park for the Sci-Fi Channel's DVICE.com website.  Check it out!

Really enjoyed watching that, its great to see both the ups and downs of bocking! Nicely edited  Smiley

Shame about the phone thou! Do you know if the girl carried on bocking or was it just a one day wonder for her?

Been in touch with Vanessa a couple of times, but I don't think she has been on a pair since.  She's more into exercise classes and kick boxing.  I was the designated teacher (off bocks) because my strap broke as soon as we reached the park, and the crew was nice enough to send someone out with it to a hardware store for repair.  Too bad none of us could flip yet at that time.  It was a fun day.

Very cool, tho i dunno if it was really worth Nick coming out there. I would have liked to come along and helped out a little, but oh well, no use crying over spilt milk. Glad to see it too.

lol was good to watch,
the leaves, gravel, and different surfaces make me fall all the time.

i wonder when i can get on tv.

and what do you call them when people ask what they are. 'jumping stilt' 'powerbocks' or something else. all i know is they are made in germany. and are alot of fun.

It was interesting to see the comments on the bottom. From the public reaction, to some people that gave bocking a bad image.  Undecided
Real shame. They all freaked when he fell.
It was funny to see the input of the reporter, she seemed rather deterred because she seemed to be a slow learner.
Over all it was a pretty good article, good job. Smiley

I thought the gasp by the crowd when Dominion fell was actually pretty funny.

I was really quite impressed with the host when she began walking unaided after only a few minutes.  The biggest problem she had was, because she is such a lightweight and the springs were so new, she had a tough time putting any flex into the springs and couldn't really jump as a noob.

It was an all day shoot, so what you see is very edited down.  The people walking by were quite impressed with the powerisers and very curious about them.

They got a lot of action shots of you, Nick.  That's better than talking.  I though you got really good coverage.

yeah i'm not saying its a bad thing, i got some good tricks in,  for the fact that dom and I had been bocking around his house at 2am that morning we were doing quite well, just wished the filming had been a little later casue i landed my first flip 2 days after i got back from that.

tho i dunno if it was really worth Nick coming out there. I

was well worth it, might not have gotten the screen time, but it was a blast to do.

Nice bit of filming. Un Nick  def some nice tricks. I tried to add a comment but it failed  Ill retry later.

I think the 'extreme' sport name can be double edged. I see us as extremly silly not extremly dangerous Grin   The difficult and dangerous tag  is a hard 1 to shift.

Excellent coverage, I've only watched about the first minute though as my uni net is being lame. Looks great, I'll leave it streaming and come back to it later Smiley

Sorry, but mockery from sexually frustrated morons doesn't count.
