wow, i want 7 minutes of my life back Smiley

Also, did u give him any tips, like dont look right infront of u, keep ur back straight, use ur heels, feet pointed straight?

Also, pads could be useful, not just wrist gaurds.

Anyway, enough of my nonsense.

His problem was he was relying to much on that stick. He kept stopping when he should of kept moving. He needed to pick his feet up higher and keep them straight. He was centering his weight forward to lean on that stick. Which caused the majority of his falls.

lol, give the guy tips next time?

MK:

In response to
"Also, pads could be useful, not just wrist gaurds."

I offered he didn't want. It's quite hot here now (what with it being the start of summer) and I think he didn't want to get too hot because of pads and a helmet.

Also, the stick was meant to be for him to initially prop himself up and then use to stop himself falling if he was falling. That's how I learned and I seem to be going fine...

I did give him a few tips about what do do (back, heels, straight legs etc) but as he said at the start: "I don't want help! Help is for the weak!" Tongue

got a A in gcse, no such thing as KS3 geography for me, apart from point to london on a map, which everyone failed at

...and all my geography was about rivers and volcanos etc, completely useless

i hada washing line pole to learn with, as it was the only thing long enough so that i could stand straight with it, was like a giant pimp cane...but it bent too easily so i decided to grab the ceiling and lights if i was going to fall instead

it's called innate sense of balance, some people have it others don't, though they can usually still learn, then it improves etc, took me about half an hour to figure out how to not fall over, but i did it all alone and in a cramped kitchen, which probably wasn't the best idea, but better than outside as i had no one to lean on when i learnt
