I dont think the spring breakage would be down to the seller though.

I wouldn't trash the seller just because of a defective spring.  That sometimes happens and is why the springs have a warranty.  A reputable seller will replace it quickly, a bad seller will not.  You should wait until you see how responsive the seller is before posting a warning about them.

Springs breaking is not an issue in itself, this happens to all makes...

However please read: PowerJumperz.com Warning From the pictures on the site they seem to sell both FL stilts and skyrunners, on PJF a member brought from there and was sent SkyRunners and wasnt very happy with the support he received on a faulty frame, so double check with them exactly what you are buying and read the t&c. If you got the cheaper ones, you got the skyrunners (The bad ones)

Im not so sure... its a bit confusing from the pics

On the sub page http://powerjumperz.com/c/115911/1/powerjumperz---adult.html the cheaper ones look like FL stilts and the more expensive ones seem to look like skyrunner Pro (moving footplate model)

However on the product page the cheaper one uses pics of what look like both http://powerjumperz.com/p/257616/adults-powerjumperz-.html

I guess its best to email them and ask!

Seems to me that buying from powerjumperz.com really is a bad idea, but not for the reason given at the beginning of this topic.  Broken springs are a random occurrence originating n the factory, not the vendor, but powerjumperz is still a bad choice of store.

Good luck with the warranty!

I bought mine from powerjumperz, and they are a much lower grade of stilt. I haven't had any problems with my springs, but the clasp on my bindings snapped off, and my hoof just broke in half after only a month er so of wear.

I'm getting a new pair of stitls from another website, so we'll see how that goes...

Well they havent replied me since i sent in the pics of the spring.  I just put in an order for some riSer's from coolthingstoride.  A friend of mine said he'd buy the SR from me for about 200 and if anything goes wrong withem we'll just warranty'em if they ever reply.  now i cant wait for the riSer's to come in.

I emailed them and all they sell is Skyrunner, as for emailing me back for the broken spring it has yet to happen.  Now I have the right to say dont buy from powerjumperz.com lol just cant wait for my riser's to come in i only had about an hour on the stilts and got hooked.  Now all i do is look at the broken and be sad hehe.
