Okay this is day 6 i took 2 days off because of bockers back it wasnt horrible but it def sucked...I iced it for two nights before bed and took some aspirin and I woke up today feeling like new ( and psyched obviously to get back on my powerstriders). I finally got the hang of running now and I going to start building up speed until I get going as fast as i can...so once again nothing special, but definitely better than day 3 lol

That's nice.. Wink
But I must say, a helmet is the last thing you should put on,
first is hands pads and elbows... And it's doesn't matter if it's 6 days or 1 year experience, this is the first thing that injured when you fall.
Hope I helped. Smiley

yes lidor has a point, but to be honest, as a beginner you should ALWAYS wear all your pads (helmet included).... trust me, it hurts otherwise, and it is also humiliating. lol, i made a busy road grind to a halt after i fell and scraped my wrist Sad they were basically going about 5 miles an hour staring at me Sad

Other than that, well done, going good. I think you need to hire a new camera man though Tongue

i know i really need to get some pads...but there is really no place around here that sells them... the area that i live in is not really big on anything that involves pads other then football, so could someone recommend a website or something that would be a good place to get a pair of guards for knees and wrists and elbows... thanks for the info though everyone

Definitely use wrist guards above anything else,
I wear them and a helmet and put on the neoprene knee pads as I have the calf cuff style that offer little protection on the knees.
Neoprene are nice as when you fall they don't seem too tear up like the fabric/plastic styles.
www.www.DicksSportingGoods.com
www.walmart.com

Some drug stores carry them too as they are a compression aid in injuries,
Rite-aid/cvs/wal-greens/etc
http://www.discountwholesaleonline.com/product.cfm/hurl/Home-Medical/ELASTIC-BRACES/Elastic--Athletic-Supports/Ace-Neoprene-Knee-Brace-Closed-Patella-Large-464552.html
Above is a link to the exact style I have.

A neighbor of mine bought my Classics from me and he found the hard way 3 weeks in a cast he hit a little patch of water on the pavement while running and "going down" hit his right arm and broke his wrist luckily it was not a complete break just a partial one.
I felt so bad for him as I knew it would happen soon and I offered guards to him several times he always took them off when he tried to run/jump so it finally caught up with him.
good news is he is fine and will not take them off when we Bock Smiley
Looks very good take it slow learn it one step at a time.
Best things come to those who wait!
Hope this helps you out.
I have an aunt that lives in Ohio she is about 15 minutes from this plaza:

Biggs 8340 Colerain Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45239
Are you close to this area by chance?
My family make a yearly trip that way maybe I can finally meet someone closer to home for me, lol

ehhh...i'm about 5 hours from cincinnati so it is quite a drive to get there, I used to have an uncle who lived there but he moved to rhode island so me and the family make a yearly trip there every year. I'm thinking bocking in Boston will be pretty sweet, well i hope so anyways (i know it will be better than Ohio).
