Great video, Love the vaulting bar thats a truely awesome find.

The flips are looking great, try to focus on jumping up rather than forward though and you will find it much easier to land them

Well taking the tucking advice from Locky, and the height advice from Athoul, i have managed to land a few more front flips on mats last night.

The crashmat on it's side, kinda makes you go up more, i think.

Had a go at vaulting the swings down the park. I was not able to revault like DI, but i'm happy.

So with CB just over a week away, i decided some routine maintenance was in order. I was surprised at what i found.
Both black spacers have cracks in them:

and 2 of the brass though washers have worn considerably:

So i am hoping i get a swift response from J&R, and some replacement parts in time for CB.
I wonder if these parts are available elsewhere?

those spacers crack if you don't have the perfect spacing between the spring and the roller joint, i've snapped 3 of them myself, I've got 3 extra in my parts bag that's coming with me to CB so if you snap one mid meet, come find me.  As for the brass bushing wear, that's why the new bearing system was developed cause the brass bushings suck.  Could get the same thing from PJ i think the FL one's fit PR's. they switched back and forth from brass to plastic, idk what they'll have in stock.

Pics and vids are looking great! After reading your last post, I rushed out and checked my bocks too! Luckily, nowhere near worn out as yours.

XS, i will hopefully have some spares of my own by CB time, but if not, i may take you up on the offer. Cheers.
I will be carrying spare nuts/bolts and washers, as well as a couple of stabiliser rods, to CB, just in case.  Wink

I quite like the brass through washers. The make for a snug set up. Shame they wear so quick though. May have to get some spares lined up?

Theibault,
Thanx for the comment. Smiley
Glad your bocks are still in good order. Always worth checking though. There are enough hazards in this sport, without worrying about equipment failure.
