We def  pedestrians   Got told by the cops  'your nothing like sk8boarders or BMX cant see any trouble with you'

Well, that was nice of them.  But I can understand when we are asked to leave.  Bounce around in a public place that is fairly crowded with pedestrians and you easily run the risk of a small child not noticing you and wandering into your space as you come down.  That would be disasterous.  I think as long as we are respectful of that sort of potential danger the sport will be viewed as something interesting for a crowd to watch -- and not viewed as a bunch of hooligans.  Hey, can I still be a hooligan at my age?   Cool

Also see them  un community support officiers walk near you. Ive seen some kind of angle away  so they dont 'see us'  others look and kind of think 'mmmmm its just not worth the paper work'

Basically cops r cool, v highly educated and trained . They will not stop us  but may advice us to move away from some areas that hav alot of 'passing traffic of pedestrians'

ET has a nice email from the 'Met'' saying capital bocking was cool --67 of us!  And him me un 4 others  bocking around London a few months b4 ( walk for life --sign up for this year --or give me ya money)  had a couple of rather intimidating motorcycle cops   'roar' up to us  -- lift visors  and just smile and watch us

OOO Bill ill just be my boring historical trivia me. HOOLIGAN is an IRISH surname.  Its believed a family emigrated to London sometime in the C19th, butits not known what they did for there name to be assosiated with a certain 'style' of anti social behavour. But their name within a generation went into history, throughout much of this world. Indeed  being a 'hooligani'  is actually an offence in the Russian penal code

I've had little contact with police on my bocks, but it's been almost entirely the same kind of attention you get from any other passer-by.  I think bocks should be allowed in most open spaces, but they should be allowed to kick you out if you're being reckless or annoying.  It will be nice when they make bocks that don't sound like a small fire cracker every time you jump, because I think quiet bocks could go nearly anywhere.

As for the original question, we deserve our own lane on account of our overwhelming awesomeness.

Well, let's hope they didn't have springs on their feet at the time.  LOL

yeah umm good question, the technical answer is, there's no law so we can do what we like but it's not usually the best idea to do backflips down a crowded highstreet or anything like that, and people have a right to kick you out if there's a danger of you destroying stuff, like in shops with slippy floors that kinda thing

I'm sure we are in the same category as skateboarding.  If I'm bocking in an area that doesn't allow skateboards, I fully expect to be asked to take it somewhere else.
They don't mind me bocking about wear there's signs say
No bikes
No Skateboards
No Rollerblades
In fact they like me bocing about there !

haha more like they don't like you bocking there, but evryones frozen solid with amazement that no one can be bothered to do a thing, and i spose it's not like your going to accidentally roll into random pedestrians, bocking is afterall a lot safer than skateboarding
