You need to get hold of a pair of snowboard bindings. The stock bindings are reknown to be lousy and pop/come off easily when put under stress.

Heres some examples on ebay - Search for "Snowboard bindings" in reverse price order  .
You shouldnt spend over £25 quid. I got mine for that much and they're brilliant, never failed me. As for the sizes e.g. "Large" I dont know what you'd be so you'll have to look into that bit yourself.

Hope this helps,

Yep  for some reason its somat the manufacturers dont seem to want to address. Some of the importers/retailers are now are offering ( or just including) a cost price upgrade with better bindings on the newer models comming onto the market.

No help to you Im sorry to say. But  things are moving in the right direction here. It is something the sellers really do tear their hair out about ( and many of the best really do bounce about). And if done at factory  would add peanuts to the cost.

Any idea on what this upgrade entails? The existing is see-through party-cracker-toy-soft plastic with soft plastic bindings.

and the 2007/2008/Advanced powerisers have upgraded bindings, they still have plastic workings, but the lever is metal, which is a big step forward.  The way to go is to find a snowboard shop, ask if they've got spare parts you can get on the cheap.

Powerisers are sold now since quiet a while with the bindings that Sprog is talking about.......
This at least if we're talking about Germany and Switzerland.

yeah german dealers have had nicer bindings on their poweriser classic model, i don't why they do and the powerisers we get in the US don't.  now that i look again it doesn't look like they even have the older model anymore.

those snowboard bindings, would you just unscrew the straps then screw them onto the bocks?

the whole binding looks very similar to the foot plate, would you/could you ad this for some customization?

you can swap the entire straps, or you can just swap the ratchets themselves, you can just unscrew the plastic ratchet and replace it with a metal one, or you can replace the entire set of straps

I'd do the entire unit meaning remove the stock straps and put on the snowboarding straps instead.

I'm with Lukey on that, both sides really should be replaced together, as the ratchet side and ridged side might not interlock correctly otherwise Smiley

Ive had my bocks for about 2 weeks and the binding strap started to stretch and tear, but even before that they never felt secure so i went to Play it again sports,( a new and used sports store) and got some bindings off a snowboard for $25dl. all i had to do was take a rotary tool to open up the holes and now they are so much better Smiley
