cool, Im going the trampoline route. On an 11 week course, and whilst the instructor knows Im really interested in flips and is concentrating on them she is concentrating on me getting as perfect a technique as possible. Im ure she is right , but is getting a lil frustrating now . Unfortunatly dont have any crash mats. Which means  when I go live , it could be  a hard landing Roll Eyes

But we gotta do it!

Very good! And it looked as you had good control over the tuck to. Really good rotation too! Great work! And I'm really excited about you putting up your whole progress, I'm arealdy waitin for th next video Cheesy

One thing though, use wristguards. I fell beckwards when I trained in stockholm and didn't have them because of all the soft areas. But after that, I put on the wristgurads. I think you can see it in the film about it.

after a bit of time doing flips on the tumble track and then as shown with the stilts doing flat-backs on the blocks i was pretty much beat.  i'm confident enough now to begin landing them and will next time at the gym.  we copied the training zackiz got from our resident pros as it looked like a great safe way to learn the feel of the stilts in rotation.

i had already planned to use wrist guards next week when i start working on my landing, and will wear full gear and helmet when i'm ready to take it to the field.
also i wear a good level 2 knee support as i worry more about knee damage than anything when doing tricks, and my bocks have always caused me some knee discomfort. it's something everyone should consider as i've seen here several instances of knee injury recently.  i spent @ $90 on the pair but it's not that much compared to a trip to ER or surgery to repair, and down time would suck!

Yeah! I, myself, wouldn't even dare do any trick out in the field without full gear Wink How long do you practice at the gym every time?

one hour @$60 so that's also incentive to learn fast.  i had a tough time finding a gym to help me, out of over 300 students they have i'm the only adult right now but in the past they've helped others such as pro wrestlers.  they were interested in the stilts because it's something different.
