Hello all, im new to all of this so ....

I decided from ~2 months of comparing that I'd get a pair of powerisers, but how sturdy are the PR90120s? I weigh 95 kg and i have nightmares of putting them on and having them bottom out Undecided

also OT does anyone know if a store could bar you from entrance when wearing bocks?

Well for one I hear that the the poweriser pros or PR are just fine. I dont have them I just have the poweriser classics. Well the PR90120's are the highest weight class that I can find and you are closer to the bottom of the weight class so it would probably be find. I am closer to the bottom of my weight class and I am really not even close to bottoming mine out. All the PoweriSers are good quality and you would most likely be fine with the PR90120's. Also I think if you went into a store with your  bocks they probably wouldn't like it to much. What ever "Bar" means yes I think it could happen but I would not experiment if I were you.

You will bottom them out, not all the time, but big jumps or drops will do it.  Nobody makes a stiffer spring, so you just have to deal with it.  And of course a store can bar you from entering on bocks, its a private business they can choose to not serve you for whatever reason they want.  Its also just a dumb idea to go walking around in stores and things on bocks, possibility or falling and hurting yourself, others, and store property isn't something i want to risk.

...they can't bar you if you get a doctors note saying they're necessary for your walking, has anyone got round to doing that yet?

So far I have been in several stores in my town I just ask before I enter to make sure it is OK.
I recently went in to rent a movie at Blockbuster and was asked to help get a few movies for other customers that they could not reach on the top shelf it made me feel special, lol
If you can walk very safely and don't "show off" Jump etc they don't seem to care so far.

I'm also going everywhere with my bucks and in maybe 1 on 10 places, they bar me entrance. I usually ask before entering, and I'm not showing off or sticking in the store, I take what I need and get out to do my show! Tongue I never had trouble, but it's very important you walk very safely, if customer or staff notice your not in balance, they're gonna ask you to leave, and it's kinda crap idea. Wish you good luck!

As a rule I don't enter shops/buildings on my stilt but I have a couple of times.
These are the rules I go by are :-

1) Do I need to wear my stilts in the shop
2) Have they stopped me before
3) Is the shops busy ?
4) Will I find walking around easy without knocking into things (No clutter).
5) Are the staff smiling at me (a good sign)

Remember that when you have been allowed it to a building the key word is respect.
Respect any rules they may ask, like don't bounce or running.
Respect others don't push in or block their way.
Respect where you are. I've been allowed in a church and walked/bocked slowly around keeping the noise of my hoofs down.

If you are told that you cannot enter or asked to leave don't blow your top just and ask nicely for their reasons. Maybe once you've chatted they'll may feel happier to let you enter, but if not bock away?

It is far easer to get banned than it is  to be allowed somewhere.
If you get banned then WE ALL GET BANNED so please mind your behaviour . Keep Bocking a friendly.

Hi, I got my bocks today from eBay, however I weigh 61kg, and the bocks I have are M80 make, which I believe is either 80kg, or between 90 and 110.

Either way, are these the correct weights? Or am I going to have to attempt to re-sell them/ swap them with someone?

M80 are for 70-80kg, and we recommend you go for the next weight range up, your range would be M70 (60-70kg) so you've actually bought the perfect bocks for your weight! Smiley

bmthbloke, are you asking me to get a vid on the bocks?

If so, I am also in Cambridge, and a bocker came up to me and told me about this site, so figured I'd check it out.

Also, Im not entirely sure if they are M80, is there markings on the bockers that might tell me?

The marker shows they are M80s, take a look on the bottom of each spring, there will more than likely be 80 written on the bottom Smiley You'll be fine on those.

A video isn't really necessary as you've only just started so you won't be getting optimum height or have the correct technique, so we'd be unable to determine if you were on the right springs.
