Has anyone tried using a 7league spring on PR's? If so how did it work out?

I would like to know because I have heard you can jump just as high as with PR spring but with less effort using 7's spring. Is this true?

Are 7springs compatible with PR's?

Thanks

yeah they fit, requires grinding the frame a bit to remove a small lip that gets in the way, nothing structural
and yes the 7s springs take less energy input to get height out of.

yep i can also confirm this, along with the fact that 7's feet will fit directly onto PR

7's springs and feet will also fit on FL stilts, but new brackets are needed to fit the feet in some cases(like mine)

Like XS said..

Make sure you do this

"requires grinding the frame a bit to remove a small lip that gets in the way"

else the frame will rub on your stilts and ware the spring away instead.

Where is this lip you have to grind?  I'm thinking of all the places where the spring comes close to the frame and I can't think of any lips on anything...

at the top of the spring, the frame is slightly boxed where it opens up to fit the spring

Oh, I think I know what you mean.  So 7league springs are wide, huh?

i thought of doing that but it means alot of money to get PRs and 7's springs. if PR springs can go just as high but takes more effort then i'll just get PRs. nothin wrong with a little more exercise

on my PJs grinding the frame wasn't needed, the have the extra lip, but i just tried each spring on each stilt and managed to make it fit without grinding into the spring, is a tight fit though so i'd reccommend removing the lip bit.

...i only got my T-rexes as my old springs were almost dead, it's not worth it to buy them together as you'll then have a perfectly good set of springs lying around, but is definately worth it as an upgrade.

...oh and the lowest joint might be a snug fit as the 7s have more protection there, well mine were at least
