I think I'm solo in my car again ( lost two out of three  Undecided hictchhikers ) so there maybe room for my push bike I'd be sorted  Grin

We may have trouble with the buses ? They may limit number on each bus has we'd take up a lot of room !?
If there's 100 bockers all at the bus stop the driver may just drive past  Shocked Angry

Little update on this.

tescos is 5 mins walk from the campsite. It's a 24 hours store but for some mad reason that still means they close at 10pm on a sat night and open something like 10-4 on sunday.
We were offered the bar in the clubhouse and also some sandwiches etc could have been made available but I said it would be easier not to and leave it so everyone can sort out whatever food they'd like. We can have BBQ's on site as long as they dont leave any markings.
There is parking at the campsite for about 50 cars, with car parks surrounding too.

Remember if you are staying any other nights you will have to book yourself in at the other campsite.

On sundays there is some law which prevents shops opening for more than 6 hours, where they put the 6 hours is upto them.

isnt it all to do with working on the sabbath and that?

Seems a little old fashioned to me. If they want to work on a sunday, let them.
What's it got to do with jesus?

Psalm 15: 26-18
"On the day of the sabbath thou shalt be awkward and not abide by thine own previously advertised hours"

Not really but this could've been something Jesus said, he could've foreseen it I dont know!

Just don't bock on the bus, carry your bocks and kit up in the bay and I doubt they'll have a problem with ~10 bockers on the bus.

God rested on the seventh day and so he gave the saboth to "his people"(depending what religion you are) to rest, and if they do any kind of work on this day it's taken like some sort of sin

(work meaning doing anything- for example cooking, reading, washing, cleaning, or making someone else work for you)

or this is what jewish peopl believe in anywayz

We can camp at the Rugby place friday and saturday nights.  However I'm not sure how its going to work.
When we arrive are we going to have to 'report' soemwhere before setting up to pay?  And if so where? Tongue
Also I've gotta get a bus there from the station, does anyone know what the nearest stop is called? (I know there is one pretty near it but have no idea what its name is Smiley )

It isn't, Guinness said no.
There has been no record set in korea and no actual evidence of 300 bockers there, let alone 300 bockers in one place.

However I'm not sure how its going to work.

Locky, Myself and Becky will be at the campsite for 4pm. We'll be pretty obvious, as we have special shirts (like last year Grin), and we'll point you in the right direction. You'll have to pay the owners of the rugby grounds, they will most likely be at the clubhouse which is by the carpark on the edge of the field, Opposite side to Cathedral School (where the video of the site was made).

Also I've gotta get a bus there from the station, does anyone know what the nearest stop is called? (I know there is one pretty near it but have no idea what its name is Smiley )
You want to walk from central station to Castle Street, and get the 112 bus which goes from Cardiff to Tonypandy, and then get off a western avenue in Llandaff. It's a 10min walk from Central to Castle Street, 7mins on the bus, and then a 5min walk from Western Avenue to the rugby club.

I'll throw a map together on google soon but at the moment it's being gay and sh**ty and I give up. after throwing my PC out the window and kicking it around a bit, here's the result

Map from Cardiff Central to Llandaff Rugby Club

How much more clearer can I make this guys.

  • You pay me when you arrive at the camp site. I will be giving out tickets for both days. Without a valid ticket, you will not be allowed to camp there.
  • The arranged campsite is for friday and saturday night only. Any other nights are up to you.
  • Transport from to and from the campsite is entirely up to you. We'll provide as much information as possible.
  • Parking in the bay is not going to be free. There are various car parks with various charges. See the website for info.

Please stop asking stupid questions that either have already been answered in this thread or are clearly stated on the CB website www.capitalbocking.com.
The more people ask silly questions, the more people will get confused which doesnt help anyone.

Anyone planning on using public transport I suggest you contact me as I can make things a lot easier for you.
