Basically guys it's possible I could arrange a bungee trampoline at capital bocking. It would take a fair amount of liasing with the council and the tramp hire company but it can be done.

However, its going to cost the best part of £300 for the day.

Would you be happy to pay £2 towards this?

Dont vote yes because you think its a good idea but wouldnt be willing to pay and please dont vote if you're not coming to capital bocking this year.

There is every chance the trampoline could be removed and we could use it on stilts so people can safely try flips etc but I would need to clear this with the instructors who remain on site.

Failing that, we could possibly ask someone to sponsor it for us maybe?

It would be a big single one like this:

I've no idea. Never been on one.
I would imagine they either cover a weight category like stilts do or they can adjust some funkyness on the bungee for different people.

Why So Serious?

I belive it involves altering the tension on the bungees using some crazy little motor devices.

They have one in Skeggy on the pair. Once they strap you in they use a motor to change the tension, by changing this they can make you bonce real high.
Has for wearing stilts that only it would still be dangerous and I'd say they wouldn't do it !

It may sound a good idea but I don't think you'd get people to try infront of everyone else !?
I wouldn't want to been shown up when I face bounce on my head   Embarrassed

Getting some small trampolines maybe an idea for non-bockers ( public ) to bounce on and join us  Cool

the bounce is very slow, the fun rather high.

Just dont go into it thinking your BONGGGGGGG with the hight gaining acelleration of a trampoline.  Its much different. Still fun.

Good idea Locky.
That would be the perfect platform to find out what a backflip feels like.

ok well with only 14 people voting so far I'm not really inclined to go for this but I will email the company who hire it out and see if its available and i'll mention it to cardiff council and see what they say.

I am W3bbo and I approve this measure.

Hell, if only 14 (15 now) go along with it, they can split the cost at £20 per head which is pretty affordable. Or maybe charge admission.

But I doubt they'd allow use of the bungee without the trampoline. I imagine it would be a similar setup to what they had in my local gym where the bungee's motion is just unpredictable it would be unsafe without the trampoline. Don't forget heavy winds either.
