vegas sounds good for a west coast thing or a winter meet for those of us up north.  I'll keep that in mind in the future.

I'm moving to California on August 13 by car.  Vegas is only possible for me if it's after August 18 or so.  DC is only possible for me if it's before August 12.

That's true... Plus, California is a long way for a lot of bockers and DC, although it favors the east coast, is more centrally located.

there will be one in DC, I realize this may be difficult for west coast bockers to get to, but there's nothing stopping the west coast guys from organizing CB USA West or something like that, the idea of it is to get all the bockers everywhere bocking on the same day(s) to promote the sport and have a great time.

That's actually not a bad idea.  Capital Bocking is much harder to implement here in the USA than in he UK, because our country is so much larger.  Besides, California may as well be a different country anyway. Wink
