Erm i had a thought about this dont know if anyone has said about it yet but.
Could we make a thread for getting lifts to capital bocking?
So that more people can come. Like me and stace are coming from Plymouth and chances are we will have the back seat empty. If we had we could give someone a lift from anywhere on the way. Although before anyone starts asking for lifts off us we dont know for certain we are empty.
Its just a thought. Do the same on capital bocking forum i think it would help alot of people who cant make it because they cant afford trains or busses but want to come OR people who cant afford the fuel costs can go halfs with others.
Just a thought!!!!

Nikki X

P.s. we are 99.9% coming by the way just have to confirm babysitter and we are there hopefully for both days.

I think the JJ will arrange our lifts and relays etc on oursite --avoid clutter ( tho a link back to us on the CB08 site would be handy).

OO the JJ's have also started training for the Sports day. There is some video of 'three legged' training lerking about! Yep it can be done. Use scarfs to tie legs ( wide and comfy). 1 round calves other round feet. Wear the stilts on 'wrong' feet to avoid damage to bindings.

Does any1 have access to a camoflage net? If so could they check if it is practicle to crawl under 1, without the stilts getting caught?

Anyone else training yet? If so what are you doing, can you post vids?  Maybe coordinate. So we all work on 2 or 3 ideas/events a month. So we then get a series of comparable videos. Will keep interest and publicity up for the event at one and the same time.

Anyone else planning to make more than just a weekend of this?

My boss seems to have lost my application for a few day before hand ( and gone on hols himself at mo). So Id like a few days down on the Gower, but not too sure if thats happening now. But more food for peeps to think about.

Oh and I trust you have all been 'scoping the place out --by watching 'Torchwood'.  Been some nice arial shots of our venue on it Grin. Tho I keep thinkin 'Jack get ya ass out of the way --I want to see if that thing behind you is jumpable Roll Eyes/

there is a cunning plan there.  Ibelieve  jono is prepairing a tutorial.  No 1 in south Wales can speak welsh.

So jono is going to teach us to say 'could you repeat that'  BUT IN WELSH   and every1 in turn insits on it Grin.

i think its been taken care of.Infact the area is owned by the harbour development commision ( or somsuch) so its them needed to be squared.

Grr, still don't know if I can go to this :@.  My dad hasn't booked a holiday for 6 years, and then he goes and books a canal boat trip thin starting on the 17th without asking anyone Undecided.  If I can drive though I'll quite happily drive over there on friday and back on saturday night Tongue

CB FTW
V FTL!

Simple as quadatic equations that.
Capital Bocking , F-something T-something Weekend, V FesTivaL ??

Also, Southend Carnival has changed its dates apparently so those in Essex who were doing Carnival can now do CB AND then the Carnival later! Sounds good to me. Woop woop

That would be Capital Bocking For the Win, and V For the Loss

Yeah I emailed out about Southend Carnival to all of EPB last night, no new takers as of yet though!
