I'M HAVING A YELLOW SHIRT Tongue

I think people should calm down a bit regarding this event. Sure the date and city has been set which will help people with long term plans etc but its a whole year away and the sport is going to evolve SO SO MUCH between now and then so just wait and see how things go.
I'm just doing that I'm told, so nur Tongue

Sure I just wanted people to have lots of advance warning so they can organise to be there next year. I am sure loads will change before now and then.

Yep  Cardiff would be good. The cardiff bay area makes a great arena permitting all manner of stuff - which I really cant imagine yet ( but starting at the very least with a lil music). As a slightly smaller city, I suspect locky would be able to grab some local media interest and a fair deal of local government support. There is a local camp site and 1 of those buget hotels nearbyby ( £40ish a nite and up to 6 can crash in a room type place)

Re the 'why cant you hold it near me' 1st yep sorry if you cant drive and this isnt near you.

But please note the many pictures posted of 'regional' groups at the london meet. These pretty well all started with a little post from a single person 'anyone near **** want to bock with me?'. Many failed ( mainly cos the time wasnt right( same post 2 months later might well have found a more people near*).

More groups will be formed like this. All are or will be getting local meets and gym sessions together. Please all post about these. Every now and again 1 of these will stand out and individuals or another group will think  'mmm that sounds fun lets go'. Then others will cry -looks whats happening over there  lets go too'.

So Id say dont post 'ET, Locky why cant you do things near me'  but 'ET Locky how can I do that sort of stuff near me'

* As an example Kiola set up the 'riserraptors' in Plymouth way back. Mainly him and his m8 Jeezbo but in the last month 2 more peeps have got bocking in plymouth. Add in the indivuals dotted in the coastal towns. Ill then mention the poweriZer hire shop in Bude, cornwall, which should generate a good deal of interest.  It all adds up  and I suspect we will soon start getting posts of big stuff way out west.

Nathan  dont bother worrying to much about transport just yet --just get saving the pennies. A/ if you got to bristol I feel certain there would be some1 who could pick you up on route from the south /SW. You might also find there is a group of you  who could get down ina car or cars by then.

This an event to be held in 362 days time and already it is 2 pages long  Shocked Huh Roll Eyes

Oh and what I hope would be another big meet. Emil and I were chatting and thought another International meet ,back in Mallorca, would be good. We were thinking Easter 2008. Other forums in Europe would be contacted. Feed back re that would be good too.
