I can come to the rescue here.

I go to an osteopath(it is a chiropractor but with longer education and specialising in the field of osteopathy) once a month. And I was recently there after getting my risers. I did not tell him about the risers before he checked me so that he could see if I had any progress. And to my surprise he especially mentioned that my legs had gotten a lot stronger and they seemed a lot better then before.

I then mentioned the powerisers and showed him pictures of it and he was sure that it was because of them my feet were as good as they now where. And he recommended me too use them as often as I could, as long as I remembered to wear the right protective gear.(and he wouldnt really recommend my trying to do flips Tongue )

I'll see him again in a few weeks and will talk more about the risers, maybe even bring them along. But at least you know have something to tell your parents.

omg thanks so much i showed my dad your post, so he doesnt think i faked it and he was quite because he knew i was right. thanks for the support

update!!!!!!!!!!
ok my dad is a lawyer like some might know and he said just because you said that your doctor said something, its called hear-say. I know this is going to sound really dumb but is there anyway when you got to your doctor, can you get like a written report from your orthopedic doctor, and scan the physical report and post it or PM me. If possible can you ask your doctor to write that PRs are good for your body(muscle wise) and if you wear protection you should be fine because my dad is a little scared and thats why he wont let me get it

Sounds like it would be a lot easier to just stop by an chiropractor yourself and hear his opinion. But I'll talk to my osteopath next time I go and will post an update on how my muscles are holding up. If it's still fine maybe I could get it in writing.

Good to hear that your dad is coming round to the idea, but I think the easiest way to do it is to contact the manufacturers, talk to doctors and osteopaths, and take your dad, rather than getting us to do all the research and get together all the info for you.
Doing it yourself will be much more satisfactory, and your dad will be able to hear it direct from one of these people, rather than in information passed along by us. That way, he may be more likely to come round to the idea, and if that fails, ah well, you'll have to wait until you leave home, it's not that long to wait if you take into account how long you live Smiley

Since my last post on this as luck would have it I was on this site www.7meilenstiefel.com

They are the Austrian manufacturer and I think they have recomendations from Sport magazine, sports doctors and physiotherapists for there new spring design. It might be worth sending them an email for any reports.

Worth a try. Wink

what ever language that it I cant understand it lol.
