I just bought the Poweriser Advanced 07s and I'm wondering how tight you should make the calf cuff. I move in the side bars to make it tighter and I fell like I need to do it again. Should it be squeezing ur leg so that it feels like the Poweriser is part of ur body, or should it be a little looser but still gripping to some extent? I keep the foot straps nice and tight and in comparison to the calf cuffs, they feel like they are a part of me...

Thanks,
Philip

here's the short way to properly adjust them, sit on something tall, where you foot can still touch the ground when on stilts.

put on your KNEEPADS, and whatever shoes your going to bock in most often
if you don't have kneepads, go get kneepads, then you can start bocking

strap your foot into the bindings
loosen the bolts holding the cuff bars
move them up or down until you are happy with the height
push the bars in against your leg, not pinching your leg, but you don't want any side to side movement
then strap the cuff on your leg
do final side to side adjustments and make sure your happy with the placement
tighten the bolts
go bock and test them out if you don't like it, adjust till you're happy

The cuffs should definitely not have much or any wiggle room, but don't pinch yourself.  They should be low enough that you can bend your legs at least ninety degrees without much or any resistance from the tpo of your cuff digging into the back of your thigh.  My cuffs touch my thigh at about ninety degrees, and I should probably lower them a bit.  Also make sure that all the bars are the same height and that your legs are centered over the footplate.

The cuffs should feel like a part of you, just don't cut off any circulation.

Post a video of what? Its all about you, only you know when your cuffs are just right.

Some people put them really high, some put them really low, its all about preference and experience.

Here we go again! You have never owned a pair of calf-cuffs and probably haven't even seen a pair in the flesh, and yet here you are offering your twopence worth.

i didnt realise the 'proper' way was to put the strap behind the loose piece of metal and then again in front of it, ive always just put it behind the loose piece of metal then right round to strap it to the velcro.

ahh you learn something new everyday.

Sprog's way is dangerous relying on 3 folds of velcro, Tomo's way is deadly, relying on one piece of velcro,  Both will work if you're legs are really skinny, but martin's way will work for everyone.

but should that once piece of velcro ever come undone you'll fall right out of the cuff, there's a picture on here somewhere of Dome's ankle after it happened to him, is about the size of a grape fruit.

Who is martin and what's his way? The guy from the video?
