Go air-trekkers, they have free shipping, and they're close, so probably only two-three day shipping or something...
And I think any stilts for $175 isn't going to be worth your time...

It's not down... they are just making a new one... you can still buy stilts from them, but they are making a new site that will be up soon...

anywhere selling Flying Jumpers are the exact same sitlts as air trekkers just a different name slapped on them

PoweriSers are generally considered a better stilt, but with the new CF springs with a year warranty on them it may shift, but the original poweriser costs the same.  The PoweriSer advanced is a highly upgraded stilt and will blow either of them out of the water, but costs $200 more.

Beaver Bockers?

hey, i live in Oregon too, looking to buy some bocks (as soon as the tax refund shows up). Air-trekkers sound like a good brand, and close by. Any word on when their website will be back up? Any other way to contact them?

Also, they said on their website to go one weight size up when you buy from them. Is that a smart thing to do? I mean, how long do the springs last in bocks?

Thanks.

Ok, please tell me more about 7's. I just wanna know what would be the best to get for a beginner with a max budget of $350.

I thought Air-Trekkers were good because they had a carbon fiber spring and a one year warranty. Plus, they are close by so if they break, it would be a faster fix.

yea, if u want to spend $350 i would recommend poweriSers (with an S).  they r supposed to be better then flying locust (poweriZer, Air-Trekkers< Fly jumpers, ect.)  7's are out of the question for that price.  buy wat you can afford and just get bocking.

I ended up getting the  air-trekkers and i think they are great bocks. i have taped up the springs already but i have not put on tire socks yet and i still don't see much wear on the rubber.

Hey p33n, is this your first experience with bocking?  I just ordered mine, and I'm really curious to hear from people who are using theirs for the first time.

For instance, how tough is it to learn?  Are you into other sports like skiing or skateboarding, that require balance and coordination?

I'm really curious about the learning curve.  My 7s should be here in about a week, but until then I have to live vicariously!

when you first start out it not that hard to walk but i found it pretty hard to start jumping but after like 10-20 min i figured it out pretty well and the after about an hour i was pretty comfortable with them. and know ive had like maybe 3 hours of use on them but i can still only jump like 1-2 feet lol.

yes, i do ski which might help me with balance but i don't know how much

Cool!  I'm curious to see whether, in a few more days, you get a lot better at jumping.  I have a feeling that jumping and running are more a matter of confidence than anything, but I wonder whether I'm right.  Hopefully I'll find out soon!
